Bible verses about "shyness" | CAB

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass or a clashing cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I give away all my possessions to feed the poor, and though I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave disgracefully, does not seek its own, is not provoked to anger, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they shall pass away; whether there are tongues, they shall cease; whether there is knowledge, it shall pass away. 9 Now we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is partial shall pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; but when I became a man, I put away the things of the child. 12 For now we see through a mirror by reflection, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Galatians 5:22-25

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control--against such things there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

1 Peter 3:15

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Hebrews 13:2

2 Do not forget hospitality, for through this some have unwittingly entertained angels.

James 1:22

22 But become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Philippians 4:6-9

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, along with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are just, as many as are pure, as many as are lovely--if there is any virtue and if there is any praise--meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, practice these things; and the God of peace shall be with you.

2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
