¹⁴ You shall not commit adultery.

³² But the adulterer through lack of understanding procures destruction to his soul.

⁵ Therefore put to death your members on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.

¹³ Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both this stomach and these foods. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor covetous, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor abusive people, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

¹³ Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelries and drinking bouts, not in orgies and debaucheries, not in strife and jealousy. ¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are: adultery, fornication, immorality, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, ²¹ envies, murders, drinking bouts, revelries, and the like; which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

⁷ And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph, and said, Lie with me. ⁸ But he would not; but said to his master's wife, If because of me my master knows nothing in his house, and has given into my hands all things that belong to him; ⁹ and in this house there is nothing above me, nor has anything been kept back from me, but you, because you are his wife — how then shall I do this wicked thing, and sin against God? ¹⁰ So it was, as she talked with Joseph day by day, that he did not heed her, to sleep with her, or to be with her.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body. ¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? ²⁰ For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

⁵ Do not deprive one another, except by mutual agreement, and that for a season, so that you may devote yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, lest Satan tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

²⁸ But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

³ For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from fornication, ⁴ that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, ⁵ not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God,

¹⁸ Let your fountain of water be truly your own, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. ¹⁹ Let your loving deer and your graceful colt company with you, and let her be considered your own, and be with you at all times, for ravished with her love you shall be greatly increased.

² Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.

³ Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. ⁴ The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. ⁵ Do not deprive one another, except by mutual agreement, and that for a season, so that you may devote yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, lest Satan tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

⁴ Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
