²¹ My son, keep good sense, and do not let wise purpose go from your eyes.

⁶ If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.

¹⁷ So that the man of God may be complete, trained and made ready for every good work.

⁴ And this is the certain faith which we have in God through Christ: ⁵ Not as if we were able by ourselves to do anything for which we might take the credit; but our power comes from God;

¹⁵ Let it be your care to get the approval of God, as a workman who has no cause for shame, giving the true word in the right way.
