²³ And whatever you do, do from the soul, as to the Lord, and not to men;

¹⁷ :

¹³ For this reason, also, we thank God without ceasing; be cause, when you received the word of God, as preached by us, you embraced it, not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works in you that believe.

²⁰ knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture came from private interpretation: ²¹ for the prophecy came not at any time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

² Now it is required in stewards, that each one be found faithful. ³ But with me, it matters very little, that I should be judged by you, or by the judgment of men: indeed, I do not judge myself. ⁴ For, though I am conscious of no wrong, yet by this I am not justified: but he that judges me is the Lord.

¹² For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, and pierces even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in the least, is faithful also in much. He that is unjust in the least, is unjust also in much.

¹⁶ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished for every good work.
