¹⁴ Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving;
And pay thy vows unto the Most High;

⁴ Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise:
Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.

¹² What shall I render unto Jehovah
For all his benefits toward me?

¹ And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me. ² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, [even] Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation. ³ Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. ⁴ And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted. ⁵ Sing unto Jehovah; for he hath done excellent things: let this be known in all the earth. ⁶ Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? ²⁶ Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value than they? ²⁷ And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life? ²⁸ And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: ²⁹ yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ³⁰ But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith? ³¹ Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? ³² For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. ³³ But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ³⁴ Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.}

¹⁴ But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.

¹⁵ And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.

¹⁵ Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

¹⁷ I will give thanks unto Jehovah according to his righteousness,
And will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.

¹ A Psalm of thanksgiving.

Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands. ² Serve Jehovah with gladness:
Come before his presence with singing. ³ Know ye that Jehovah, he is God:
It is he that hath made us, and we are his;
We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. ⁴ Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise:
Give thanks unto him, and bless his name. ⁵ For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever,
And his faithfulness unto all generations.

²⁰ giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

¹ O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good;
For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.

⁶ In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

¹⁸ in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.
