25 But now, I am traveling to Jerusalem, ministering to [or, serving] the holy ones. 26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased [or, thought it good] to make a certain contribution for the poor of the holy ones, the [ones] in Jerusalem. 27 For they were pleased [or, thought it good], and they are indebted to them, for if the Gentiles shared in the [things] pertaining to the spirit, they ought also to minister to them in the [things] pertaining to the flesh.
34 Now the Pharisees having heard that He silenced the Sadducees, were gathered together. 35 And one of them, a lawyer, questioned, testing Him, and saying, 36 "Teacher, which [is] the great commandment in the Law?" 37 Then Jesus said to him, "'You will love the LORD your God with your whole heart [fig., your entire inner self] and with your whole soul and with your whole understanding.' [Deut 6:4,5] 38 "This is [the] first and great commandment. 39 "But a second [one is] similar to it, 'You will love your neighbor as yourself.' [Lev 19:18] 40 "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
1 Therefore, continue becoming imitators of God, as beloved children,
23 And every [thing], whatever youp shall be doing, be working from [yourp] soul [fig., heartily] as to the Lord and not to people,
31 "And just as youp want that people shall be doing to you, youp also be doing to them likewise.
14 For the entire Law is fulfilled in one word, in this [commandment], "You will love your neighbor as yourself." [Lev 19:18]
1 If I speak with the tongues of people and of angels, but I do not have love, I have become [as] brass sounding or a cymbal tinkling. 2 And if I am having [the gift of] prophecy and know all secrets and all knowledge, and if I am having all faith so as to be removing mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
31 "But when the Son of Humanity comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit down on [the] throne of His glory [or, His glorious throne]. 32 "And all the nations will be gathered together before Him, and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 "And indeed, He will set the sheep at His right hand and the goats at the left. 34 "Then the King will say to the [ones] at His right hand, 'Come, the ones having been blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom having been prepared for youp from [the] laying of the foundation of [the] world [or, from [the] beginning of the creation of [the] universe]. 35 "'For I was hungry, and youp gave to Me to eat; I was thirsty, and youp gave me [something] to drink; I was a stranger, and youp took Me in; 36 naked, and youp clothed Me; I was sick, and youp looked after Me; I was in prison, and youp came to Me.' 37 "Then the righteous [ones] will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungering and we fed [You]? Or thirsting and we gave [You something] to drink? 38 "'But when did we see You a stranger and took [You] in? Or naked and we clothed [You]? 39 "'But when did we see You sick or in prison and we came to You? 40 "And answering, the King will say to them, 'Positively, I say to youp, to the degree that youp did [it] to one of these, the least of My brothers [and sisters], youp did [it] to Me.' 41 "Then He will also say to the [ones] at the left hand, 'Be going away from Me, the ones having been cursed, into the eternal fire, the one having been prepared for the Devil and his angels; 42 'For I was hungry, and youp did not give Me [something] to eat; I was thirsty, and youp did not give Me [something] to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and youp did not take me in; naked, and youp did not clothe Me; sick and in prison, and youp did not look after Me.' 44 "Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungering or thirsting or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and we did not take care of You?' 45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Positively, I say to youp, to the degree that youp did not do [it] to one of these, the least, youp did not do [it] to Me.' 46 "And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
4 Stop being concerned each one about the things of themselves, but each one also [about] the things of others.
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own and especially his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
14 What [is] the advantage, my brothers [and sisters], if someone is saying he has faith but is not having works? Such faith is not able to save him, is it? 15 Now if a brother or sister is naked [or, poorly dressed] and is lacking of the daily food, 16 yet any of youp says to them, "Be going away in peace; be keeping yourselves warm and well fed," but does not give to them the necessary [things] of the body, what [is] the advantage? 17 So also such faith, if it is not having works, is dead [fig., utterly useless] by itself.
10 So, consequently, as we have opportunity, let us be working the good [thing] to all, but especially to the [ones] of the household of the faith.
