¹⁶ To the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in sorrow you shall bring forth children; and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.

¹ Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.

¹³ A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. ¹⁴ House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

¹¹ Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. ¹² But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. ¹³ For Adam was first formed, then Eve. ¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. ¹⁵ Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

¹⁹ It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

¹⁰ Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
