¹⁵ And he that smites his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

²¹ Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

¹¹ My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: ¹² For whom the LORD loves he corrects; even as a father the son in whom he delights.

²⁸ And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

⁶ Whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

¹⁷ And he that curses his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

⁴¹ Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

¹⁷ Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. ¹⁸ If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men. ¹⁹ Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, said the Lord.

²⁵ But he that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he has done: and there is no respect of persons.
