¹ The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.

These things are good and profitable to men. ⁹ But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. ¹⁰ A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; ¹¹ Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sins, being condemned of himself.

²⁶ He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered.

²² But I say to you, That whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

⁶ A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.
