¹ And the people were as murmurers, speaking evil in the ears of LORD. And when LORD heard it, his anger was kindled, and the fire of LORD burnt among them, and devoured in the outermost part of the camp. ² And the people cried to Moses. And Moses prayed to LORD, and the fire abated. ³ And the name of that place was called Taberah, because the fire of LORD burnt among them. ⁴ And the mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly. And the sons of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

²⁵ but murmured in their tents, and did not hearken to the voice of LORD.

² And be not conformed to this age, but be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind, for ye to approve what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

¹⁴ Do all things without grumblings and arguments, ¹⁵ so that ye may become blameless and pure children of God, blameless in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. ¹⁶ Holding firm the word of life, for a boast by me in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain.

¹² Therefore my beloved, just as ye have always obeyed, not only as in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. ¹³ For it is God who works in you both to desire and to work for approval. ¹⁴ Do all things without grumblings and arguments, ¹⁵ so that ye may become blameless and pure children of God, blameless in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. ¹⁶ Holding firm the word of life, for a boast by me in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain.

¹¹ Not that I speak regarding need, for I have learned in what things I am to be content. ¹² I know both how to be abased and how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be lacking.

¹⁴ Do all things without grumblings and arguments, ¹⁵ so that ye may become blameless and pure children of God, blameless in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

⁸ And Moses said, This shall be when LORD shall give you flesh to eat in the evening, and bread to the full in the morning, for that LORD hears your murmurings which ye murmur against him. And what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against LORD.

¹⁸ In everything express thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

¹⁰ And ye should not grumble as some of them grumbled, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

⁹ Do not grumble, brothers, against each other, so that ye not be judged. Behold, the judge stands before the doors.

⁹ stranger-loving toward each other without complaints.

²⁹ Let no corrupt speech go out of your mouth, rather if there is any good word for edification of a need, so that it may give grace to those who hear.
