⁸ And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Lo, send me.

³⁸ And Peter said to them, Repent ye, and be immersed each of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

⁶ Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father, except by me.

⁴ one body, and one Spirit. Just as also ye were called in one hope of your calling,

¹¹ For which also we pray always about you, so that our God will make you worthy of the calling, and will fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power. ¹² So that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ For just as we have many body-parts in one body, and all the body-parts have not the same function,

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.

²⁹ For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

¹⁰ Therefore, brothers, instead be diligent to make your calling and selection sure, for doing these things, ye would, no, not ever stumble.
