⁴ Love suffers long, is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, ⁵ does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, imputes no evil;

² with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love;

¹⁹ So that, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; ²⁰ for the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest for your souls.

¹⁵ but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts; ready always to give an answer to every one that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

² to speak evil of no one, to be averse to strife, forbearing, showing all meekness to all men.
