¹⁵ And he said to them: Go into all the world, and preach the good news to every creature. ¹⁶ He that believes and is immersed shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be condemned.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All power was given to me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Go therefore, and disciple all the nations, immersing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you alway, unto the end of the world.

¹⁰ For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

¹⁷ For Christ did not send me to immerse, but to preach the glad tidings; not with wisdom of speech, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

⁵ But be thou watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully accomplish thy ministry.

² Persevere in prayer, being watchful therein with thanksgiving; ³ at the same time praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for the sake of which I am also in bonds, ⁴ that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. ⁵ Walk in wisdom toward those without, redeeming the time. ⁶ Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

⁸ But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and Samaria, and unto the utmost part of the earth.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

²² To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all, that I may by all means save some.

¹⁵ but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts; ready always to give an answer to every one that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

³⁷ Then he says to his disciples: The harvest indeed is great, but the laborers are few. ³⁸ Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

¹⁰ For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth profession is made unto salvation. ¹¹ For the Scripture says: Whoever believes on him shall not be put to shame. ¹² For there is no difference between Jew and Greek; for the same is Lord of all, rich toward all that call upon him; ¹³ for every one who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ¹⁴ How then shall they call on him on whom they believed not? And how shall they believe on him of whom they heard not? And how shall they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵ And how shall they preach, unless they are sent forth? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things! ¹⁶ But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah says: Lord, who believed our report? ¹⁷ So then faith comes of hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
