  8 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H14 תאבה consent H3808 לו ולא unto him, nor H8085 תשׁמע hearken H413 אליו unto H3808 ולא him; neither H2347 תחוס pity H5869 עינך shall thine eye H5921 עליו pity H3808 ולא him, neither H2550 תחמל shalt thou spare, H3808 ולא neither H3680 תכסה shalt thou conceal H5921 עליו׃ shalt thou conceal

  5 H3808 ולא not H14 אבה would H3068 יהוה Nevertheless the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H8085 לשׁמע hearken H413 אל unto H1109 בלעם Balaam; H2015 ויהפך turned H3068 יהוה but the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 לך את   H7045 הקללה the curse H1293 לברכה into a blessing H3588 כי unto thee, because H157 אהבך loved H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God

  7 H518 ואם And if H3808 לא not H2654 יחפץ like H376 האישׁ the man H3947 לקחת to take H853 את   H2994 יבמתו his brother's wife, H5927 ועלתה go up H2994 יבמתו then let his brother's wife H8179 השׁערה to the gate H413 אל unto H2205 הזקנים the elders, H559 ואמרה and say, H3985 מאן refuseth H2993 יבמי My husband's brother H6965 להקים to raise up H251 לאחיו unto his brother H8034 שׁם a name H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H3808 לא not H14 אבה he will H2992 יבמי׃ perform the duty of my husband's brother.

  20 H3808 לא not H14 יאבה will H3068 יהוה The LORD H5545 סלח spare H3588 לו כי him, but H227 אז then H6225 יעשׁן shall smoke H639 אף the anger H3068 יהוה of the LORD H7068 וקנאתו and his jealousy H376 באישׁ man, H1931 ההוא against that H7257 ורבצה shall lie H3605 בו כל and all H423 האלה the curses H3789 הכתובה that are written H5612 בספר book H2088 הזה in this H4229 ומחה shall blot out H3068 יהוה upon him, and the LORD H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H8478 מתחת from under H8064 השׁמים׃ heaven.

  10 H3808 ולא not H14 אביתי But I would H8085 לשׁמע hearken H1109 לבלעם unto Balaam; H1288 ויברך therefore he blessed H1288 ברוך therefore he blessed H853 אתכם   H5337 ואצל you still: so I delivered H853 אתכם   H3027 מידו׃ you out of his hand.

  9 H2550 ויחמל spared H7586 שׁאול But Saul H5971 והעם and the people H5921 על spared H90 אגג Agag, H5921 ועל   H4315 מיטב and the best H6629 הצאן of the sheep, H1241 והבקר and of the oxen, H4932 והמשׁנים and of the fatlings, H5921 ועל   H3733 הכרים and the lambs, H5921 ועל   H3605 כל and all H2896 הטוב good, H3808 ולא not H14 אבו and would H2763 החרימם utterly destroy H3605 וכל them: but every H4399 המלאכה thing H959 נמבזה   H4549 ונמס and refuse, H853 אתה   H2763 החרימו׃ that they destroyed utterly.

  17 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H7323 לרצים unto the footmen H5324 הנצבים that stood H5921 עליו about H5437 סבו him, Turn, H4191 והמיתו and slay H3548 כהני the priests H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H3588 כי because H1571 גם also H3027 ידם their hand H5973 עם with H1732 דוד David, H3588 וכי and because H3045 ידעו they knew H3588 כי when H1272 ברח fled, H1931 הוא he H3808 ולא and did not H1540 גלו show H853 את   H241 אזנו it to me.   23 H3068 ויהוה The LORD H7725 ישׁיב render H376 לאישׁ to every man H853 את   H6666 צדקתו his righteousness H853 ואת   H530 אמנתו and his faithfulness: H834 אשׁר for H5414 נתנך delivered H3068 יהוה the LORD H3117 היום today, H3027 ביד thee into hand H3808 ולא not H14 אביתי but I would H7971 לשׁלח stretch forth H3027 ידי mine hand H4899 במשׁיח anointed. H3068 יהוה׃ against the LORD's

  4 H559 ויאמר Then said H7586 שׁאול Saul H5375 לנשׂא unto his armorbearer, H3627 כליו unto his armorbearer, H8025 שׁלף Draw H2719 חרבך thy sword, H1856 ודקרני and thrust me through H6435 בה פן therewith; lest H935 יבואו come H6189 הערלים uncircumcised H428 האלה these H1856 ודקרני and thrust me through, H5953 והתעללו and abuse H3808 בי ולא not; H14 אבה would H5375 נשׂא   H3627 כליו   H3588 כי for H3372 ירא afraid.   21 H559 ויאמר said H74 לו אבנר And Abner H5186 נטה to him, Turn thee aside H5921 לך על to H3225 ימינך thy right H176 או hand or H5921 על to H8040 שׂמאלך thy left, H270 ואחז and lay thee hold H259 לך אחד on one H5288 מהנערים of the young men, H3947 וקח and take H853 לך את   H2488 חלצתו thee his armor. H3808 ולא not H14 אבה would H6214 עשׂהאל But Asahel H5493 לסור turn aside H310 מאחריו׃ from following

  17 H6965 ויקמו arose, H2205 זקני And the elders H1004 ביתו of his house H5921 עליו to H6965 להקימו him, to raise him up H4480 מן from H776 הארץ the earth: H3808 ולא not, H14 אבה but he would H3808 ולא neither H1254 ברא   H854 אתם with H3899 לחם׃ bread

  14 H3808 ולא not H14 אבה Howbeit he would H8085 לשׁמע hearken H6963 בקולה unto her voice: H2388 ויחזק but, being stronger H4480 ממנה   H6031 ויענה than she, forced H7901 וישׁכב her, and lay with H854 אתה׃  

  16 H559 ותאמר And she said H408 לו אל unto him, no H182 אודת cause: H7451 הרעה evil H1419 הגדולה greater H2063 הזאת this H312 מאחרת than the other H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂית thou didst H5973 עמי unto H7971 לשׁלחני in sending me away H3808 ולא not H14 אבה me. But he would H8085 לשׁמע׃ hearken

  25 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H413 אל to H53 אבשׁלום Absalom, H408 אל Nay, H1121 בני my son, H408 אל let us not H4994 נא now H1980 נלך go, H3605 כלנו all H3808 ולא lest H3513 נכבד we be chargeable H5921 עליך unto H6555 ויפרץ thee. And he pressed H3808 בו ולא not H14 אבה him: howbeit he would H1980 ללכת go, H1288 ויברכהו׃ but blessed

  29 H7971 וישׁלח sent H53 אבשׁלום Therefore Absalom H413 אל for H3097 יואב Joab, H7971 לשׁלח to have sent H853 אתו   H413 אל him to H4428 המלך the king; H3808 ולא not H14 אבה but he would H935 לבוא come H413 אליו to H7971 וישׁלח him: and when he sent H5750 עוד again H8145 שׁנית the second time, H3808 ולא not H14 אבה he would H935 לבוא׃ come.

  16 H1234 ויבקעו broke through H7969 שׁלשׁת And the three H1368 הגברים mighty men H4264 במחנה the host H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines, H7579 וישׁאבו and drew H4325 מים water H877 מבאר   H1035 בית לחם of Bethlehem, H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁער by the gate, H5375 וישׂאו and took H935 ויבאו and brought H413 אל to H1732 דוד David: H3808 ולא not H14 אבה nevertheless he would H8354 לשׁתותם drink H5258 ויסך   H853 אתם   H3068 ליהוה׃ unto the LORD.

  17 H559 ויאמר And he said, H2486 חלילה Be it far H3068 לי יהוה from me, O LORD, H6213 מעשׂתי things did H2063 זאת this: H1818 הדם the blood H582 האנשׁים   H1980 ההלכים that went H5315 בנפשׁותם in jeopardy of their lives? H3808 ולא not H14 אבה therefore he would H8354 לשׁתותם drink H428 אלה it. These H6213 עשׂו   H7969 שׁלשׁת these three H1368 הגברים׃ mighty men.
