1 G2532 And G1525 [G5631] Jesus entered G1330 [G5711] and passed through G2410 Jericho.

2 G2532 And, G2400 [G5628] behold, G435 there was a man G3686 G2564 [G5746] named G2195 Zacchaeus, G2532 G846 who G2258 [G5713] was G754 the chief among the tax collectors, G2532 and G3778 he G2258 [G5713] was G4145 rich.

3 G2532 And G2212 [G5707] he sought G1492 [G5629] to see G2424 Jesus G5101 who G2076 [G5748] he was; G2532 and G1410 [G5711] could G3756 not G575 because G3588 of the G3793 crowd, G3754 since G2258 [G5713] he was G3398 little G2244 of stature.

4 G2532 And G4390 [G5631] he ran G1715 before, G305 [G5627] and climbed up G1909 upon G4809 a sycamore tree G2443 to G1492 [G5632] see G846 him: G3754 for G3195 [G5707] he was G1330 G1223 [G5738] to pass G1565 that way.

5 G2532 And G5613 when G2424 Jesus G2064 [G5627] came G1909 to G5117 the place, G308 [G5660] he looked up, G1492 [G5627] and saw G846 him, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 him, G2195 { Zacchaeus, G4692 [G5660] make haste, G2597 [G5628] and come down; G1063 for G4594 to day G3165 I G1163 [G5748] must G3306 [G5658] abide G1722 at G4675 thy G3624 house.}

6 G2532 And G4692 [G5660] he made haste, G2597 [G5627] and came down, G2532 and G5264 [G5662] received G846 him G5463 [G5723] joyfully.

7 G2532 And G1492 [G5631] when they saw G1234 0 it, they G537 all G1234 [G5707] murmured, G3004 [G5723] saying, G3754 That G1525 [G5627] he was gone G2647 [G5658] to relax G3844 with G435 a man G268 that is a sinner.

8 G1161 And G2195 Zacchaeus G2476 [G5685] stood, G2036 [G5627] and said G4314 to G2962 the Lord; G2400 [G5628] Behold, G2962 Lord, G2255 the half G3450 of my G5224 [G5723] goods G1325 [G5719] I give G4434 to the poor; G2532 and G1536 0 if G4811 0 I have taken G1536 any thing G5100 from any man G4811 [G5656] by false accusation, G591 [G5719] I restore G5073 him fourfold.

9 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 him, G3754 G4594 { This day G1096 0 is G4991 salvation G1096 [G5633] come G5129 to this G3624 house, G2530 because G846 he G2532 also G2076 [G5748] is G5207 a son G11 of Abraham.}

10 G1063 { For G5207 the Son G444 of man G2064 [G5627] is come G2212 [G5658] to seek G2532 and G4982 [G5658] to save G622 [G5756] that which was lost.}

11 G1161 And G846 as they G191 [G5723] heard G5023 these things, G4369 [G5631] he added G2036 [G5627] and spoke G3850 a parable, G1223 because G846 he G1511 [G5750] was G1451 near G2419 to Jerusalem, G2532 and G846 because they G1380 [G5721] thought G3754 that G932 the kingdom G2316 of God G3195 [G5719] should G3916 immediately G398 [G5745] appear.

12 G2036 [G5627] He said G3767 therefore, G5100 { A certain G2104 noble G444 man G4198 [G5675] went G1519 into G3117 a far G5561 region G2983 [G5629] to receive G1438 for himself G932 a kingdom, G2532 and G5290 [G5658] to return.}

13 G1161 { And G2564 [G5660] he called G1438 his G1176 ten G1401 slaves, G1325 [G5656] and delivered G846 them G1176 ten G3414 pounds, G2532 and G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 them, G4231 [G5663] Occupy G2193 till G2064 [G5736] I come.}

14 G1161 { But G846 his G4177 citizens G3404 [G5707] hated G846 him, G2532 and G649 [G5656] sent G4242 a message G3694 after G846 him, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2309 0 We will G3756 not G2309 [G5719] have G5126 this G936 [G5658] man to reign G1909 over G2248 us.}

15 G2532 { And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G1722 in G846 his G1880 [G5629] returning back, G2983 [G5631] having received G3588 the G932 kingdom, G2532 that G2036 [G5627] he said G5128 for these G1401 slaves G5455 [G5683] to be called G846 to him, G3739 to whom G1325 [G5656] he had given G3588 the G694 money, G2443 that G1097 [G5632] he might know G5101 how much G5101 every man G1281 [G5662] had gained by trading.}

16 G1161 { Then G3854 [G5633] came G4413 the first, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2962 Lord, G4675 thy G3414 pound G4333 [G5662] hath gained G1176 ten G3414 pounds.}

17 G2532 { And G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to him, G2095 Well, G18 thou good G1401 slave: G3754 because G1096 [G5633] thou hast been G4103 faithful G1722 in G1646 a very little, G2192 [G5723] have G2468 G1849 [G5749] thou authority G1883 over G1176 ten G4172 cities.}

18 G2532 { And G1208 the second G2064 [G5627] came, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2962 Lord, G4675 thy G3414 pound G4160 [G5656] hath gained G4002 five G3414 pounds.}

19 G1161 { And G2036 [G5627] he said G2532 likewise G5129 to him, G1096 [G5737] Be G4771 thou G2532 also G1883 over G4002 five G4172 cities.}

20 G2532 { And G2087 another G2064 [G5627] came, G3004 [G5723] saying, G2962 Lord, G2400 [G5628] behold, G4675 here is thy G3414 pound, G3739 which G2192 [G5707] I have G606 [G5740] kept laid up G1722 in G4676 a napkin:}

21 G1063 { For G5399 [G5711] I feared G4571 thee, G3754 because G1488 [G5748] thou art G840 an austere G444 man: G142 [G5719] thou takest up G3739 what G5087 0 thou didst G3756 not G5087 [G5656] lay down, G2532 and G2325 [G5719] reapest G3739 what G4687 0 thou didst G3756 not G4687 [G5656] sow.}

22 G1161 { And G3004 [G5719] he saith G846 to him, G1537 Out of G4675 thine own G4750 mouth G2919 [G5692] will I judge G4571 thee, G4190 thou wicked G1401 slave. G1492 [G5715] Thou knewest G3754 that G1473 I G1510 [G5748] was G840 an austere G444 man, G142 [G5723] taking up G3739 what G5087 0 I laid G3756 not G5087 [G5656] down, G2532 and G2325 [G5723] reaping G3739 what G4687 0 I did G3756 not G4687 [G5656] sow:}

23 G1302 { Why G2532 then G1325 [G5656] gavest thou G3756 not G3450 my G694 money G1909 into G5132 the bank, G2532 that G2064 [G5631] at my coming G1473 I G302 might G4238 [G5656] have required G846 my own G4862 with G5110 interest?}

24 G2532 { And G2036 [G5627] he said G3936 [G5761] to them that stood by, G142 [G5657] Take G575 from G846 him G3414 the pound, G2532 and G1325 [G5628] give G2192 [G5723] it to him that hath G1176 ten G3414 pounds.}

25 G2532 { (And G2036 [G5627] they said G846 to him, G2962 Lord, G2192 [G5719] he hath G1176 ten G3414 pounds.)}

26 G1063 { For G3004 [G5719] I say G5213 to you, G3754 That G3956 to every one G3588 who G2192 [G5723] hath G1325 [G5701] shall be given; G1161 and G575 from G2192 [G5723] him that hath G3361 not, G2532 even G3739 what G2192 [G5719] he hath G142 [G5701] shall be taken away G575 from G846 him.}

27 G4133 { But G1565 those G3450 my G2190 enemies, G3588 who G2309 [G5660] would G3361 not G3165 that I G936 [G5658] should reign G1909 over G846 them, G71 [G5628] lead G5602 here, G2532 and G2695 [G5657] slay G1715 them before G3450 me.}

28 G2532 And G5023 when he had thus G2036 [G5631] spoken, G4198 [G5711] he went G1715 before, G305 [G5723] going up G1519 to G2414 Jerusalem.

29 G2532 And G1096 [G5633] it came to pass, G5613 when G1448 [G5656] he had come near G1519 to G967 Bethphage G2532 and G963 Bethany, G4314 at G3735 the mount G2564 [G5746] called G1636 the mount of Olives, G649 [G5656] he sent G1417 two G846 of his G3101 disciples,

30 G2036 [G5631] Saying, G5217 [G5720] { Go ye G1519 into G2968 the village G2713 opposite G1722 you; in G3739 which G1531 [G5740] at your entering G2147 [G5692] ye shall find G4454 a colt G1210 [G5772] tied, G1909 on G3739 which G3762 yet never G444 man G2523 G4455 [G5656] sat: G3089 [G5660] loose G846 him, G71 [G5628] and lead him here.}

31 G2532 { And G1437 if G5100 any man G2065 [G5725] shall ask G5209 you, G1302 Why G3089 [G5719] do ye loose G3779 him? thus G2046 [G5692] shall ye say G846 to him, G3754 Because G2962 the Lord G2192 [G5719] hath G5532 need G846 of him.}

32 G1161 And G649 [G5772] they that were sent G565 [G5631] went, G2147 [G5627] and found G2531 even as G2036 [G5627] he had said G846 to them.

33 G1161 And G846 as they G3089 [G5723] were loosing G4454 the colt, G846 its G2962 owners G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 them, G5101 Why G3089 [G5719] loose ye G4454 the colt?

34 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] they said, G2962 The Lord G2192 [G5719] hath G5532 need G846 of him.

35 G2532 And G71 [G5627] they led G846 him G4314 to G2424 Jesus: G2532 and G1977 0 they cast G1438 their G2440 garments G1909 G1977 0 upon G4454 the colt, G1977 [G5660] and G1913 0 they set G2424 Jesus G1913 [G5656] on it.

36 G1161 And G846 as he G4198 [G5740] went, G5291 [G5707] they spread G846 their G2440 clothes G1722 in G3598 the way.

37 G846 And when he G1448 [G5723] had come near, G1161 even G2235 now G4314 at G2600 the descent G3735 of the mount G1636 of Olives, G537 the whole G4128 multitude G3101 of the disciples G756 [G5662] began G5463 [G5723] to rejoice G134 [G5721] and praise G2316 God G3173 with a loud G5456 voice G4012 for G3956 all G1411 the powerful works G3739 that G1492 [G5627] they had seen;

38 G3004 [G5723] Saying, G2127 [G5772] Blessed G935 be the King G2064 [G5740] that cometh G1722 in G3686 the name G2962 of the Lord: G1515 peace G1722 in G3772 heaven, G2532 and G1391 glory G1722 in G5310 the highest.

39 G2532 And G5100 some G5330 of the Pharisees G575 from G3793 among the crowd G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 him, G1320 Teacher, G2008 [G5657] rebuke G4675 thy G3101 disciples.

40 G2532 And G611 [G5679] he answered G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to them, G3004 [G5719] { I tell G5213 you G3754 that, G1437 if G3778 these G4623 [G5661] should be silent, G3037 the stones G2896 [G5688] would cry out.}

41 G2532 And G5613 when G1448 [G5656] he had come near, G1492 [G5631] he beheld G4172 the city, G2799 [G5656] and wept G1909 over G846 it,

42 G3004 [G5723] Saying, G3754 G1487 { If G1097 [G5627] thou hadst known, G2532 even G4771 thou, G2534 at least G1722 in G5026 this G4675 thy G2250 day, G3588 the things G4314 which belong to G4675 thy G1515 peace! G1161 but G3568 now G2928 [G5648] they are hid G575 from G4675 thy G3788 eyes.}

43 G3754 { For G2250 the days G2240 [G5692] shall come G1909 upon G4571 thee, G2532 that G4675 thy G2190 enemies G4016 0 shall cast G5482 a trench G4016 [G5692] about G4671 thee, G2532 and G4033 0 surround G4571 G4033 [G5692] thee, G2532 and G4912 0 keep G4571 thee G4912 [G5692] in G3840 on every side,}

44 G2532 { And G1474 0 shall lay G4571 thee G1474 [G5692] even with the ground, G2532 and G4675 thy G5043 children G1722 within G4671 thee; G2532 and G863 0 they shall G3756 not G863 [G5692] leave G1722 in G4671 thee G3037 one stone G1909 upon G3037 another; G473 G3739 because G1097 [G5627] thou knewest G3756 not G2540 the season G4675 of thy G1984 visitation.}

45 G2532 And G1525 [G5631] he went G1519 into G2411 the temple, G756 [G5662] and began G1544 [G5721] to cast out G4453 [G5723] them that sold G1722 in G846 it, G2532 and G59 [G5723] them that bought;

46 G3004 [G5723] Saying G846 to them, G1125 [G5769] { It is written, G3450 My G3624 house G2076 [G5748] is G3624 the house G4335 of prayer: G1161 but G5210 ye G4160 [G5656] have made G846 it G4693 a den G3027 of brigands.}

47 G2532 And G2258 G1321 [G5713] he taught G2596 G2250 daily G1722 in G2411 the temple. G1161 But G749 the chief priests G2532 and G1122 the scribes G2532 and G3588 the G4413 foremost G2992 of the people G2212 [G5707] sought G622 0 to make G846 him G622 [G5658] lost,

48 G2532 And G2147 0 could G3756 not G2147 [G5707] find G5101 what G4160 [G5661] they might do: G1063 for G537 all G2992 the people G1582 [G5710] were very attentive G191 [G5723] to hear G846 him.
