Ezekiel 26 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man, H6865 because that Tyre H559 [H8804] hath said H3389 against Jerusalem, H1889 Aha, H7665 [H8738] she is broken H1817 that was the gates H5971 of the people: H5437 [H8738] she is turned H4390 [H8735] to me: I shall be replenished, H2717 [H8717] now she is laid waste:

3 H559 [H8804] Therefore thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H6865 Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, H7227 and will cause many H1471 nations H5927 [H8689] to come up H3220 against thee, as the sea H1530 causeth its waves H5927 [H8687] to come up.

4 H7843 [H8765] And they shall decay H2346 the walls H6865 of Tyre, H2040 [H8804] and break down H4026 her towers: H5500 [H8765] I will also scrape H6083 her dust H5414 [H8804] from her, and make H6706 her like the top H5553 of a rock.

5 H4894 It shall be a place for the spreading H2764 of nets H8432 in the midst H3220 of the sea: H1696 [H8765] for I have spoken H5002 [H8803] it, saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD: H957 and it shall become a spoil H1471 to the nations.

6 H1323 And her daughters H7704 who are in the field H2026 [H8735] shall be slain H2719 by the sword; H3045 [H8804] and they shall know H3068 that I am the LORD.

7 H559 [H8804] For thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H935 [H8688] Behold, I will bring H6865 upon Tyre H5019 Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon, H4428 a king H4428 of kings, H6828 from the north, H5483 with horses, H7393 and with chariots, H6571 and with horsemen, H6951 and congregations, H7227 and many H5971 people.

8 H2026 [H8799] He shall slay H2719 with the sword H1323 thy daughters H7704 in the field: H5414 [H8804] and he shall make H1785 a fort H8210 [H8804] against thee, and cast H5550 a siege mound H6965 [H8689] against thee, and raise up H6793 the buckler against thee.

9 H5414 [H8799] And he shall set H4239 engines H6904 of war H2346 against thy walls, H2719 and with his axes H5422 [H8799] he shall break down H4026 thy towers.

10 H8229 By reason of the abundance H5483 of his horses H80 their dust H3680 [H8762] shall cover H2346 thee: thy walls H7493 [H8799] shall shake H6963 at the noise H6571 of the horsemen, H1534 and of the wheels, H7393 and of the chariots, H935 [H8800] when he shall enter H8179 into thy gates, H3996 as men enter H5892 into a city H1234 [H8794] in which is made a breach.

11 H6541 With the hoofs H5483 of his horses H7429 [H8799] shall he tread down H2351 all thy streets: H2026 [H8799] he shall slay H5971 thy people H2719 by the sword, H5797 and thy strong H4676 garrisons H3381 [H8799] shall go down H776 to the earth.

12 H7997 [H8804] And they shall make a spoil H2428 of thy riches, H962 [H8804] and make a prey H7404 of thy merchandise: H2040 [H8804] and they shall break down H2346 thy walls, H5422 [H8799] and tear down H2532 thy pleasant H1004 houses: H7760 [H8799] and they shall lay H68 thy stones H6086 and thy timber H6083 and thy dust H8432 in the midst H4325 of the water.

13 H1995 And I will cause the noise H7892 of thy songs H7673 [H8689] to cease; H6963 and the sound H3658 of thy harps H8085 [H8735] shall be no more heard.

14 H5414 [H8804] And I will make H6706 thee like the top H5553 of a rock: H4894 0 thou shalt be a place to spread H2764 nets H4894 upon; H1129 [H8735] thou shalt be built H3068 no more: for I the LORD H1696 [H8765] have spoken H5002 [H8803] it, saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD.

15 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD H6865 to Tyre; H339 Shall not the isles H7493 [H8799] shake H6963 at the sound H4658 of thy fall, H2491 when the wounded H602 [H8800] groan, H2027 when the slaughter H2026 [H8736] is made H8432 in the midst of thee?

16 H5387 Then all the princes H3220 of the sea H3381 [H8804] shall come down H3678 from their thrones, H5493 [H8689] and lay away H4598 their robes, H6584 [H8799] and put off H7553 their embroidered H899 garments: H3847 [H8799] they shall clothe H2731 themselves with trembling; H3427 [H8799] they shall sit H776 upon the earth, H2729 [H8804] and shall tremble H7281 at every moment, H8074 [H8804] and be astonished at thee.

17 H5375 [H8804] And they shall take up H7015 a lamentation H559 [H8804] for thee, and say H6 [H8804] to thee, How art thou destroyed, H3427 [H8737] that wast inhabited H3220 by seafaring men, H1984 [H8794] the renowned H5892 city, H2389 which wast strong H3220 in the sea, H3427 [H8802] she and her inhabitants, H5414 [H8804] who cause H2851 their terror H3427 [H8802] to be on all that dwelt in it!

18 H339 Now shall the isles H2729 [H8799] tremble H3117 in the day H4658 of thy fall; H339 yea, the isles H3220 that are in the sea H926 [H8738] shall be troubled H3318 [H8800] at thy departure.

19 H559 [H8804] For thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H5414 [H8800] When I shall make H2717 [H8737] thee a desolate H5892 city, H5892 like the cities H3427 [H8738] that are not inhabited; H5927 [H8687] when I shall bring up H8415 the deep H7227 upon thee, and great H4325 waters H3680 [H8765] shall cover thee;

20 H3381 [H8689] When I shall bring thee down H3381 [H8802] with them that descend H953 into the hole, H5971 with the people H5769 of old time, H3427 [H8689] and shall set H8482 thee in the low parts H776 of the earth, H2723 in dry places H5769 of old, H3381 [H8802] with them that go down H953 to the hole, H3427 [H8799] that thou be not inhabited; H5414 [H8804] and I shall set H6643 splendor H776 in the land H2416 of the living;

21 H5414 [H8799] I will make H1091 thee a terror, H1245 [H8792] and thou shalt be no more: though thou shalt be sought for, H5769 yet shalt thou never H4672 [H8735] be found H5002 [H8803] again, saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD.
