Deuteronomy 6 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye may do them in the land where ye go to possess it:

2 H3372 [H8799] That thou mayest fear H3068 the LORD H430 thy God, H8104 [H8800] to keep H2708 all his statutes H4687 and his commandments, H6680 [H8764] which I command H1121 thee, thou, and thy son, H1121 and thy son's H1121 son, H3117 all the days H2416 of thy life; H3117 and that thy days H748 [H8686] may be prolonged.

3 H8085 [H8804] Hear H3478 therefore, O Israel, H8104 [H8804] and observe H6213 [H8800] to do H3190 [H8799] it; that it may be well H7235 [H8799] with thee, and that ye may increase H3966 mightily, H3068 as the LORD H430 God H1 of thy fathers H1696 [H8765] hath promised H776 thee, in the land H2100 [H8802] that floweth H2461 with milk H1706 and honey.

4 H8085 [H8798] Hear, H3478 O Israel: H3068 The LORD H430 our God H259 is one H3068 LORD:

5 H157 [H8804] And thou shalt love H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H3824 with all thy heart, H5315 and with all thy breath, H3966 and with all thy might.

6 H1697 And these words, H6680 [H8764] which I command H3117 thee this day, H3824 shall be in thy heart:

10 H3068 And it shall be, when the LORD H430 thy God H935 [H8686] shall have brought H776 thee into the land H7650 [H8738] which he swore H1 to thy fathers, H85 to Abraham, H3327 to Isaac, H3290 and to Jacob, H5414 [H8800] to give H1419 thee great H2896 and goodly H5892 cities, H1129 [H8804] which thou didst not build,

11 H1004 And houses H4392 full H2898 of all good H4390 [H8765] things, which thou didst not fill, H2672 [H8803] and dug H953 wells, H2672 [H8804] which thou didst not dig, H3754 vineyards H2132 and olive trees, H5193 [H8804] which thou didst not plant; H398 [H8804] when thou shalt have eaten H7646 [H8804] and be full;

12 H8104 [H8734] Then beware H7911 [H8799] lest thou shouldest forget H3068 the LORD, H3318 [H8689] who brought thee forth H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt, H1004 from the house H5650 of bondage.

13 H3372 [H8799] Thou shalt fear H3068 the LORD H430 thy God, H5647 [H8799] and serve H7650 [H8735] him, and shalt swear H8034 by his name.

14 H3212 [H8799] Ye shall not go H310 after H312 other H430 gods, H430 of the gods H5971 of the people H5439 which are around you;

15 H3068 (For the LORD H430 thy God H7067 is a jealous H410 God H7130 among H639 you) lest the anger H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H2734 [H8799] should be kindled H8045 [H8689] against thee, and desolate H6440 thee from off the face H127 of the soil.

16 H5254 [H8762] Ye shall not test H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H5254 [H8765] as ye tested H4532 him in Massah.

17 H8104 [H8800] Ye shall diligently H8104 [H8799] keep H4687 the commandments H3068 of the LORD H430 your God, H5713 and his testimonies, H2706 and his statutes, H6680 [H8765] which he hath commanded thee.

18 H6213 [H8804] And thou shalt do H3477 that which is right H2896 and good H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD: H3190 [H8799] that it may be well H935 [H8804] with thee, and that thou mayest go in H3423 [H8804] and possess H2896 the good H776 land H3068 which the LORD H7650 [H8738] swore H1 to thy fathers,

19 H1920 [H8800] To cast out H341 [H8802] all thy enemies H6440 from the face of H3068 thee, as the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath spoken.

20 H1121 And when thy son H7592 [H8799] shall ask H4279 thee in time to come, H559 [H8800] saying, H5713 What mean the testimonies, H2706 and the statutes, H4941 and the judgments, H3068 which the LORD H430 our God H6680 [H8765] hath commanded you?

21 H559 [H8804] Then thou shalt say H1121 to thy son, H6547 We were Pharaoh's H5650 slaves H4714 in Egypt; H3068 and the LORD H3318 [H8686] brought us out H4714 of Egypt H2389 with a mighty H3027 hand:

22 H3068 And the LORD H5414 [H8799] showed H226 signs H4159 and wonders, H1419 great H7451 and terrible, H4714 upon Egypt, H6547 upon Pharaoh, H1004 and upon all his household, H5869 before our eyes:

23 H3318 [H8689] And he brought us out H935 [H8687] from there, that he might bring us in, H5414 [H8800] to give H776 us the land H7650 [H8738] which he swore H1 to our fathers.

24 H3068 And the LORD H6680 [H8762] commanded H6213 [H8800] us to do H2706 all these statutes, H3372 [H8800] to fear H3068 the LORD H430 our God, H2896 for our good H3117 always, H2421 [H8763] that he might preserve us alive, H3117 as it is at this day.

25 H6666 And it shall be our righteousness, H8104 [H8799] if we observe H6213 [H8800] to do H2063 all these H4687 commandments H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD H430 our God, H6680 [H8765] as he hath commanded us.
