Deuteronomy 3 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

2 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H3372 [H8799] to me, Fear H5414 [H8804] him not: for I will give H5971 him, and all his people, H776 and his land, H3027 into thine hand; H6213 [H8804] and thou shalt do H6213 [H8804] to him as thou didst H5511 to Sihon H4428 king H567 of the Amorites, H3427 [H8802] who dwelt H2809 at Heshbon.

3 H3068 So the LORD H430 our God H5414 [H8799] gave H3027 into our hands H5747 Og H4428 also, the king H1316 of Bashan, H5971 and all his people: H5221 [H8686] and we smote H7604 [H8689] him until none was left H8300 to him remaining.

4 H3920 [H8799] And we took H5892 all his cities H6256 at that time, H7151 there was not a city H3947 [H8804] which we took H8346 not from them, sixty H5892 cities, H2256 all the region H709 of Argob, H4467 the kingdom H5747 of Og H1316 in Bashan.

5 H5892 All these cities H1219 [H8803] were fortified H1364 with high H2346 walls, H1817 gates, H1280 and bars; H6521 besides unwalled H5892 towns H3966 a great H7235 [H8687] number.

6 H2763 [H8686] And we utterly secluded H6213 [H8804] them, as we did H5511 to Sihon H4428 king H2809 of Heshbon, H2763 [H8687] utterly secluding H4962 the men, H802 women, H2945 and children, H5892 of every city.

7 H929 But all the cattle, H7998 and the spoil H5892 of the cities, H962 [H8804] we took for a prey to ourselves.

8 H3947 0 And we took H6256 at that time H3947 [H8799] out H3027 of the hand H8147 of the two H4428 kings H567 of the Amorites H776 the land H5676 that was on this side H3383 of Jordan, H5158 from the river H769 of Arnon H2022 to mount H2768 Hermon;

9 H2768 (Which Hermon H6722 the Sidonians H7121 [H8799] call H8303 Sirion; H567 and the Amorites H7121 [H8799] call H8149 it Shenir;)

10 H5892 All the cities H4334 of the plain, H1568 and all Gilead, H1316 and all Bashan, H5548 to Salchah H154 and Edrei, H5892 cities H4467 of the kingdom H5747 of Og H1316 in Bashan.

13 H3499 And the rest H1568 of Gilead, H1316 and all Bashan, H4467 being the kingdom H5747 of Og, H5414 [H8804] I gave H2677 to the half H7626 tribe H4519 of Manasseh; H2256 all the region H709 of Argob, H1316 with all Bashan, H1931 which H7121 [H8735] was called H776 the land H7497 of giants.

14 H2971 Jair H1121 the son H4519 of Manasseh H3947 [H8804] took H2256 all the country H709 of Argob H1366 to the borders H1651 of Geshuri H4602 and Maachathi; H7121 [H8799] and called H8034 them after his own name, H1316 H2334 Bashanhavothjair, H3117 to this day.

18 H6680 [H8762] And I commanded H6256 you at that time, H559 [H8800] saying, H3068 The LORD H430 your God H5414 [H8804] hath given H776 you this land H3423 [H8800] to possess H5674 [H8799] it: ye shall pass over H2502 [H8803] armed H6440 at the face of H251 your brethren H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel, H1121 all that are fit H2428 for the war.

19 H802 But your wives, H2945 and your little ones, H4735 and your cattle, H3045 [H8804] (for I know H7227 that ye have many H4735 cattle, H3427 [H8799] ) shall abide H5892 in your cities H5414 [H8804] which I have given you;

20 H3068 Until the LORD H5117 [H8686] shall have given rest H251 to your brethren, H3423 [H8804] as well as to you, and until they also possess H776 the land H3068 which the LORD H430 your God H5414 [H8802] hath given H5676 them beyond H3383 Jordan: H7725 [H8804] and then shall ye return H376 every man H3425 to his possession, H5414 [H8804] which I have given you.

21 H6680 [H8765] And I commanded H3091 Joshua H6256 at that time, H559 [H8800] saying, H5869 Thine eyes H7200 [H8802] have seen H3068 all that the LORD H430 your God H6213 [H8804] hath done H8147 to these two H4428 kings: H3068 so shall the LORD H6213 [H8799] do H4467 to all the kingdoms H5674 [H8802] where thou passest.

22 H3372 [H8799] Ye shall not fear H3068 them: for the LORD H430 your God H3898 [H8737] he shall fight for you.

23 H2603 [H8691] And I asked for favour H3068 from the LORD H6256 at that time, H559 [H8800] saying,

24 H136 O Sovereign H3069 LORD, H2490 [H8689] thou hast begun H7200 [H8687] to show H5650 thy servant H1433 thy greatness, H2389 and thy mighty H3027 hand: H410 for what God H8064 is there in heaven H776 or in earth, H6213 [H8799] that can do H4639 according to thy works, H1369 and according to thy might?

25 H5674 [H8799] I pray thee, let me go over, H7200 [H8799] and see H2896 the good H776 land H5676 that is beyond H3383 Jordan, H2896 that goodly H2022 mountain, H3844 and Lebanon.

26 H3068 But the LORD H5674 [H8691] was angry H8085 [H8804] with me for your sakes, and would not hear H3068 me: and the LORD H559 [H8799] said H7227 to me, Let it suffice H1696 [H8763] thee; speak H3254 [H8686] no more H1697 to me of this matter.

27 H5927 [H8798] Go up H7218 to the top H6449 of Pisgah, H5375 [H8798] and lift up H5869 thine eyes H3220 westward, H6828 and northward, H8486 and southward, H4217 and eastward, H7200 [H8798] and behold H5869 with thine eyes: H5674 [H8799] for thou shalt not go over H3383 this Jordan.

28 H6680 [H8761] But charge H3091 Joshua, H2388 [H8761] and encourage H553 [H8761] him, and strengthen H5674 [H8799] him: for he shall go over H6440 at the face of H5971 this people, H5157 [H8686] and he shall cause them to inherit H776 the land H7200 [H8799] which thou shalt see.

29 H3427 [H8799] So we abode H1516 in the valley H4136 opposite H1047 Bethpeor.
