2 Chronicles 28:9-15 But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out at the face of the army that came to Samaria, and said to them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was hotly angry with Judah, he hath given them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth to heaven.

10 H559 [H8802] And now ye purpose H3533 [H8800] to bring into bondage H1121 for yourselves the sons H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem H5650 for male H8198 and female slaves: H7535 but are there not with you, even H819 with you, causes of guilt H3068 against the LORD H430 your God?

12 H582 Then certain H7218 of the heads H1121 of the sons H669 of Ephraim, H5838 Azariah H1121 the son H3076 of Johanan, H1296 Berechiah H1121 the son H4919 of Meshillemoth, H3169 and Jehizkiah H1121 the son H7967 of Shallum, H6021 and Amasa H1121 the son H2311 of Hadlai, H6965 [H8799] stood up H935 [H8802] against them that came H6635 from the war,

13 H559 [H8799] And said H935 [H8686] to them, Ye shall not bring in H7633 the captives H819 here: for though we have guilt H3068 against the LORD H559 [H8802] already, ye intend H3254 [H8687] to add H2403 more to our sins H819 and to our guilt: H819 for our guilt H7227 is great, H2740 and there is burning H639 anger H3478 against Israel.

14 H2502 [H8803] So the armed men H5800 [H8799] left H7633 the captives H961 and the spoil H6440 at the face of H8269 the princes H6951 and all the congregation.

15 H582 And the men H5344 [H8738] who were mentioned H8034 by name H6965 [H8799] arose, H2388 [H8686] and took H7633 the captives, H7998 and with the spoil H3847 [H8689] clothed H4636 all that were naked H3847 [H8686] among them, and arrayed H5274 [H8686] them, and shod H398 [H8686] them, and gave them food H8248 [H8686] and drink, H5480 [H8799] and anointed H5095 [H8762] them, and carried H3782 [H8802] all the feeble H2543 of them upon donkeys, H935 [H8686] and brought H3405 them to Jericho, H5892 the city H8558 H5899 [H8677] of palm trees, H681 to H251 their brethren: H7725 [H8799] then they returned H8111 to Samaria.
