  2 G1722 By G5129 this G1097 [G5719] we know G3754 that G25 [G5719] we love G5043 the children G2316 of God, G3752 when G25 [G5719] we love G2316 God, G2532 and G5083 [G5725] keep G846 his G1785 commandments.

  3 G1063 For G3778 this G2076 [G5748] is G26 the love G2316 of God, G2443 that G5083 [G5725] we keep G846 his G1785 commandments: G2532 and G846 his G1785 commandments G1526 [G5748] are G3756 not G926 burdensome.

  4 G3754 For G3956 whoever G1080 [G5772] is born G1537 of G2316 God G3528 [G5719] overcometh G2889 the world: G2532 and G3778 this G2076 [G5748] is G3529 the victory G3528 [G5660] that overcometh G2889 the world, G2257 even our G4102 faith.

  5 G5101 Who G2076 [G5748] is G3528 [G5723] he that overcometh G2889 the world, G1508 but G4100 [G5723] he that believeth G3754 that G2424 Jesus G2076 [G5748] is G5207 the Son G2316 of God?

  6 G3778 This G2076 [G5748] is G2064 [G5631] he that came G1223 by G5204 water G2532 and G129 blood, G2424 even Jesus G5547 Anointed; G3756 not G1722 by G5204 water G3440 only, G235 but G1722 by G5204 water G2532 and G129 blood. G2532 And G2076 [G5748] it is G4151 the Spirit G3140 [G5723] that beareth witness, G3754 because G4151 the Spirit G2076 [G5748] is G225 truth.

  7 G3754 For G1526 [G5748] there are G5140 three G3140 [G5723] that bear witness G1722 in G3772 heaven, G3962 the Father, G3056 the Word, G2532 and G40 the Holy G4151 Spirit: G2532 and G3778 these G5140 three G1526 [G5748] are G1520 one.

  8 G2532 And G1526 [G5748] there are G5140 three G3140 [G5723] that bear witness G1722 on G1093 earth, G4151 the Spirit, G2532 and G5204 the water, G2532 and G129 the blood: G2532 and G5140 these three G1526 [G5748] agree G1519 in G1520 one.

  9 G1487 If G2983 [G5719] we receive G3141 the witness G444 of men, G3141 the witness G2316 of God G2076 [G5748] is G3187 greater: G3754 for G3778 this G2076 [G5748] is G3141 the witness G2316 of God G3739 which G3140 [G5758] he hath testified G4012 of G846 his G5207 Son.

  10 G4100 [G5723] He that believeth G1519 on G5207 the Son G2316 of God G2192 [G5719] hath G3141 the witness G1722 in G1438 himself: G4100 [G5723] he that believeth G3361 not G2316 God G4160 [G5758] hath made G846 him G5583 a liar; G3754 because G3756 G1519 he hath not G4100 [G5758] believed G3141 the testimony G3739 that G2316 God G3140 [G5758] gave G4012 of G846 his G5207 Son.

  11 G2532 And G3778 this G2076 [G5748] is G3141 the testimony, G3754 that G2316 God G1325 [G5656] hath given G2254 to us G166 age-during G2222 life, G2532 and G3778 this G2222 life G2076 [G5748] is G1722 in G846 his G5207 Son.

  12 G2192 [G5723] He that hath G5207 the Son G2192 [G5719] hath G2222 life; G2192 [G5723] and he that hath G3361 not G5207 the Son G2316 of God G2192 [G5719] hath G3756 not G2222 life.

  13 G5023 These things G1125 [G5656] have I written G5213 to you G4100 [G5723] that believe G1519 on G3686 the name G5207 of the Son G2316 of God; G2443 that G1492 [G5762] ye may know G3754 that ye G2192 [G5719] have G166 age-during G2222 life, G2532 and G2443 that G4100 [G5725] ye may believe G1519 on G3686 the name G5207 of the Son G2316 of God.

  14 G2532 And G3778 this G2076 [G5748] is G3954 the confidence G3739 that G2192 [G5719] we have G4314 in G846 him, G3754 that, G1437 if G154 [G5735] we ask G5100 any thing G2596 according G846 to his G2307 will, G191 [G5719] he heareth G2257 us:

  15 G2532 And G1437 if G1492 [G5758] we know G3754 that G191 [G5719] he heareth G2257 us, G3739 G302 whatever G154 [G5735] we ask, G1492 [G5758] we know G3754 that G2192 [G5719] we have G155 the petitions G3739 that G154 [G5758] we desired G3844 from G846 him.

  16 G1437 If G5100 any man G1492 [G5632] shall see G846 his G80 brother G264 [G5723] sin G266 a sin G3361 which is not G4314 to G2288 death, G154 [G5692] he shall ask, G2532 and G1325 [G5692] he shall give G846 him G2222 life G264 [G5723] for them that sin G3361 not G4314 to G2288 death.   17 G3956 All G93 injustice G2076 [G5748] is G266 sin: G2532 and G2076 [G5748] there is G266 a sin G3756 not G4314 to G2288 death.

  18 G1492 [G5758] We know G3754 that G3956 whoever G1080 [G5772] is born G1537 of G2316 God G264 [G5719] sinneth G3756 not; G235 but G1080 [G5685] he that is begotten G1537 of G2316 God G5083 [G5719] keepeth G1438 himself, G2532 and G4190 that evil one G680 [G5731] toucheth G846 him G3756 not.

  19 G1492 [G5758] And we know G3754 that G2070 [G5748] we are G1537 of G2316 God, G2532 and G3588 the G3650 whole G2889 world G2749 [G5736] is situated G1722 in G3588 the G4190 evil one.

  20 G1161 And G1492 [G5758] we know G3754 that G5207 the Son G2316 of God G2240 [G5719] hath come, G2532 and G1325 [G5758] hath given G2254 us G1271 an understanding, G2443 that G1097 [G5725] we may know G228 him that is true, G2532 and G2070 [G5748] we are G1722 in G228 him that is true, G1722 even in G846 his G5207 Son G2424 Jesus G5547 Anointed. G3778 This G2076 [G5748] is G228 the true G2316 God, G2532 and G166 age-during G2222 life.
