  2:1   3588 του   1161 δε And * Ιησού Jesus 1080 γεννηθέντος having been born 1722 εν in * Βηθλεέμ Bethlehem 3588 της   * Ιουδαίας of Judea, 1722 εν in 2250 ημέραις the days * Ηρώδου of Herod 3588 του the 935 βασιλέως king, 2400 ιδού behold, 3097 μάγοι magi 575 από from 395 ανατολών the east 3854 παρεγένοντο came 1519 εις unto * Ιεροσόλυμα Jerusalem,   2:2   3004 λέγοντες saying, 4226 που Where 1510.2.3 εστίν is 3588 ο the one 5088 τεχθείς having been born 935 βασιλεύς king 3588 των of the * Ιουδαίων Jews? 1492-1063 είδομεν γαρ For we beheld 1473 αυτού his 3588 τον   792 αστέρα star 1722 εν in 3588 τη the 395 ανατολή east, 2532 και and 2064 ήλθομεν we came 4352 προσκυνήσαι to do obeisance 1473 αυτώ to him.   2:3   191-1161 ακούσας δε And hearing, * Ηρώδης Herod 3588 ο the 935 βασιλεύς king 5015 εταράχθη was disturbed, 2532 και and 3956 πάσα all * Ιεροσόλυμα Jerusalem 3326 μετ΄ with 1473 αυτού him.   2:4   2532 και And 4863 συναγαγών gathering together 3956 πάντας all 3588 τούς the 749 αρχιερείς chief priests 2532 και and 1122 γραμματείς scribes 3588 του of the 2992 λαού people, 4441 επυνθάνετο he inquired 3844 παρ΄ of 1473 αυτών them 4226 που where 3588 ο the 5547 Χριστός Christ 1080 γεννάται is born.   2:5   3588-1161 οι δε And they 2036 είπον said 1473 αυτώ to him, 1722 εν In * Βηθλεέμ Bethlehem 3588 της   * Ιουδαίας of Judea; 3779-1063 ούτως γαρ for thus 1125 γέγραπται it has been written 1223 διά by 3588 του the 4396 προφήτου prophet,   2:6   2532 και And 1473 συ you, * Βηθλεέμ Bethlehem, 1093 γη land * Ιούδα of Judea, 3760 ουδαμώς [²not at all 1646 ελαχίστη ³least 1510.2.2 ει ¹are] 1722 εν in 3588 τοις the 2232 ηγεμόσιν governs * Ιούδα of Judea. 1537 εκ [²from out of 1473 σου ³you 1063 γαρ ¹For] 1831 εξελεύσεται shall come forth 2233 ηγούμενος one leading, 3748 όστις who 4165 ποιμανεί shall tend 3588 τον   2992-1473 λαόν μου my people 3588 τον   * Ισραήλ Israel.   2:7   5119 τότε Then * Ηρώδης Herod, 2977 λάθρα in private 2564 καλέσας having called 3588 τους the 3097 μάγους magi, 198 ηκρίβωσε exacted 3844 παρ΄ from 1473 αυτών them 3588 τον the 5550 χρόνον time 3588 του of the 5316 φαινομένου [²appearing 792 αστέρος ¹star].   2:8   2532 και And 3992 πέμψας having sent 1473 αυτούς them 1519 εις unto * Βηθλεέμ Bethlehem, 2036 είπε he said, 4198 πορευθέντες Having gone, 199 ακριβώς exactly 1833 εξετάσατε inquire 4012 περί concerning 3588 του the 3813 παιδίου child! 1875-1161 επάν δε And when 2147 εύρητε you should have found, 518 απαγγείλατέ report 1473 μοι to me, 3704 όπως so that 2504 καγώ I also 2064 ελθών having come 4352 προσκυνήσω should do obeisance 1473 αυτώ to him.   2:9   3588-1161 οι δε And they, 191 ακούσαντες having heard 3588 του the 935 βασιλέως king, 4198 επορεύθησαν went. 2532 και And 2400 ιδού behold, 3588 ο the 792 αστήρ star 3739 ον which 1492 είδον they beheld 1722 εν in 3588 τη the 395 ανατολή east 4254 προήγεν led before 1473 αυτούς them, 2193 έως until 2064 ελθών having come 2476 έστη it stood 1883 επάνω above 3739 ου of which place 1510.7.3 ην [³was 3588 το ¹the 3813 παιδίον ²child].   2:10   1492-1161 ιδόντες δε And beholding 3588 τον the 792 αστέρα star, 5463 εχάρησαν they rejoiced 5479 χαράν [²joy 3173 μεγάλην ¹a great], 4970 σφόδρα exceedingly.   2:11   2532 και And 2064 ελθόντες having come 1519 εις unto 3588 την the 3614 οικίαν residence, 1492 είδον they saw 3588 το the 3813 παιδίον child 3326 μετά with * Μαρίας Mary 3588 της   3384-1473 μητρός αυτού his mother. 2532 και And 4098 πεσόντες having fallen, 4352 προσεκύνησαν they did obeisance 1473 αυτώ to him. 2532 και And 455 ανοίξαντες having opened 3588 τους   2344-1473 θησαυρούς αυτών their treasuries, 4374 προσήνεγκαν they offered 1473 αυτώ to him 1435 δώρα gifts -- 5557 χρυσόν gold 2532 και and 3030 λίβανον frankincense 2532 και and 4666 σμύρναν myrrh.   2:12   2532 και And 5537 χρηματισθέντες having received a divine message 2596 κατ΄ by 3677 όναρ dream, 3361-344 μη ανακάμψαι to not return 4314 προς to * Ηρώδην Herod, 1223 δι΄ [²by 243 άλλης ³another 3598 οδού ⁴way 402 ανεχώρησαν ¹they withdrew] 1519 εις unto 3588 την   5561-1473 χώραν αυτών their place.   2:13   402 αναχωρησάντων [³withdrawing 1161 δε ¹And 1473 αυτών ²of their], 2400 ιδού behold, 32 άγγελος an angel 2962 κυρίου of the Lord 5316 φαίνεται appeared 2596 κατ΄ by 3677 όναρ dream 3588 τω to * Ιωσήφ Joseph, 3004 λέγων saying, 1453 εγερθείς Having arisen, 3880 παράλαβε take to yourself 3588 το the 3813 παιδίον child 2532 και and 3588 την   3384-1473 μητέρα αυτού his mother, 2532 και and 5343 φεύγε flee 1519 εις into * Αίγυπτον Egypt! 2532 και and 1510.5 ίσθι be 1563 εκεί there 2193 έως until 302 αν whenever 2036 είπω I should speak 1473 σοι to you! 3195 μέλλει [³is about 1063 γαρ ¹For * Ηρώδης ²Herod] 2212 ζητείν to seek 3588 το the 3813 παιδίον child 3588 του   622 απολέσαι to destroy 1473 αυτό it.   2:14   3588 ο   1161 δε And 1453 εγερθείς having arisen, 3880 παρέλαβεν he took to himself 3588 το the 3813 παιδίον child 2532 και and 3588 την   3384-1473 μητέρα αυτού his mother 3571 νυκτός by night, 2532 και and 402 ανεχώρησεν he withdrew 1519 εις into * Αίγυπτον Egypt.   2:15   2532 και And 1510.7.3 ην he was 1563 εκεί there 2193 έως until 3588 της the 5054 τελευτής decease * Ηρώδου of Herod, 2443 ίνα that 4137 πληρωθή should be fulfilled 3588 το the thing 4483 ρηθέν having been spoken 5259 υπό by 3588 του the 2962 κυρίου Lord 1223 διά through 3588 του the 4396 προφήτου prophet, 3004 λέγοντος saying, 1537 εξ From out of * Αιγύπτου Egypt 2564 εκάλεσα I called 3588 τον   5207-1473 υιόν μου my son.   2:16   5119 τότε Then * Ηρώδης Herod, 1492 ιδών knowing 3754 ότι that 1702 ενεπαίχθη he was mocked 5259 υπό by 3588 των the 3097 μάγων magi, 2373 εθυμώθη was enraged 3029 λίαν exceedingly. 2532 και And 649 αποστείλας having sent, 337 ανείλε he did away with 3956 πάντας all 3588 τους the 3816 παίδας boys, 3588 τους the ones 1722 εν in * Βηθλεέμ Bethlehem, 2532 και and 1722 εν in 3956 πάσι all 3588 τοις the 3725 ορίοις borders 1473 αυτής of it, 575 από from 1332 διετούς two years old 2532 και and 2736 κατωτέρω below, 2596 κατά according to 3588 τον the 5550 χρόνον time 3739 ον which 198 ηκρίβωσε was exacted 3844 παρά from 3588 των the 3097 μάγων magi.   2:17   5119 τότε Then 4137 επληρώθη was fulfilled 3588 το the thing 4483 ρηθέν having been spoken 5259 υπό by * Ιερεμίου Jeremiah 3588 του the 4396 προφήτου prophet, 3004 λέγοντος saying,   2:18   5456 φωνή A voice 1722 εν in * Ραμά Rama 191 ηκούσθη was heard, 2355 θρήνος wailing 2532 και and 2805 κλαυθμός weeping, 2532 και and 3602 οδυρμός [²grieving 4183 πολύς ¹much], * Ραχήλ Rachel 2799 κλαίουσα weeping over 3588 τα   5043-1473 τέκνα αυτής her children, 2532 και and 3756-2309 ουκ ήθελε she wanted not 3870 παρακληθήναι to be comforted, 3754 ότι for 3756-1510.2.6 ουκ εισί they are not.   2:19   5053 τελευτήσαντος [³having come to an end 1161 δε ¹And 3588 του   * Ηρώδου ²Herod], 2400 ιδού behold, 32 άγγελος an angel 2962 κυρίου of the Lord 2596 κατ΄ by 3677 όναρ dream 5316 φαίνεται appears 3588 τω to * Ιωσήφ Joseph 1722 εν in * Αιγύπτω Egypt,   2:20   3004 λέγων saying, 1453 εγερθείς Having arisen, 3880 παράλαβε take to yourself 3588 το the 3813 παιδίον child 2532 και and 3588 την   3384-1473 μητέρα αυτού his mother, 2532 και and 4198 πορεύου go 1519 εις into 1093 γην the land * Ισραήλ of Israel! 2348-1063 τεθνήκασιν [⁸have died 1063 γαρ ¹for 3588 οι ²the ones 2212 ζητούντες ³seeking 3588 την ⁴the 5590 ψυχήν ⁵life 3588 του ⁶of the 3813 παιδίου ⁷child]!   2:21   3588 ο   1161 δε And 1453 εγερθείς having arisen, 3880 παρέλαβεν he took to himself 3588 το the 3813 παιδίον child 2532 και and 3588 την   3384-1473 μητέρα αυτού his mother, 2532 και and 2064 ήλθεν came 1519 εις into 1093 γην the land * Ισραήλ of Israel.   2:22   191-1161 ακούσας δε And having heard 3754 ότι that * Αρχέλαος Archelaus 936 βασιλεύει reigned 1909 επί over 3588 της   * Ιουδαίας Judea 473 αντί instead of * Ηρώδου Herod 3588 του   3962-1473 πατρός αυτου his father, 5399 εφοβήθη he feared 1563-565 εκεί απελθείν to go forth there. 5537-1161 χρηματισθείς δε And having received a divine message 2596 κατ΄ by 3677 όναρ dream, 402 ανεχώρησεν he withdrew 1519 εις into 3588 τα the 3313 μέρη parts 3588 της   * Γαλιλαίας of Galilee.   2:23   2532 και And 2064 ελθών having come, 2730 κατώκησεν he dwelt 1519 εις in 4172 πόλιν a city 3004 λεγομένην being called * Ναζαρέθ Nazareth; 3704 όπως so that 4137 πληρωθή should be fulfilled 3588 το the thing 4483 ρηθέν having been spoken 1223 διά through 3588 των the 4396 προφητών prophets, saying, 3754 ότι For *-2564 Ναζωραίος κληθήσεται he shall be called a Nazarene.
