³⁸ Of the sons of Dan—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host—

⁵ and Bilhah conceiveth, and beareth to Jacob a son, ⁶ and Rachel saith, `God hath decided for me, and also hath hearkened to my voice, and giveth to me a son;' therefore hath she called his name Dan.
