⁸ Gracious and merciful is Jehovah, Slow to anger, and great in kindness. ⁹ Good is Jehovah to all, And His mercies are over all His works.

¹⁵ The eyes of all unto Thee do look, And Thou art giving to them their food in its season, ¹⁶ Opening Thy hand, and satisfying The desire of every living thing.

¹⁸ Come, I pray you, and we reason, saith Jehovah, If your sins are as scarlet, as snow they shall be white, If they are red as crimson, as wool they shall be!

² `Rise, go unto Nineveh, the great city, and proclaim against it that their wickedness hath come up before Me.'
