²¹ For in eating every one taketh before [other], his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of the Lord? ¹⁷ For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we all are partakers of one bread, and of one cup. ¹⁸ Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices, partakers of the altar?

²³ For I have received of the Lord, that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus, the night in which he was betrayed, took bread. ²⁴ And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, This is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. ²⁵ After the same manner also the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.

¹³ And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the daytime: sporting themselves with their own feasts of charity while they rejoice with you;

¹² These are those who are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with them, feeding themselves without fear: clouds without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withered, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
