³ For we that have believed, do enter into the rest; as he said, I have sworn in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest, though the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God?

¹¹ Now all these things happened to them for examples, and they are written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages are come.

¹⁰ That in the dispensation of the fulness of the times, he might gather together into one in Christ all things which are in heaven, and which are in earth,

² as Christ also hath loved us, and given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God of a sweet-smelling savour.

¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

² Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds:

⁴ For it is impossible, that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

¹⁰ By which will we are sanctified, through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹² But he having offered one sacrifice for sins,

²⁶ For when we sin wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

²⁰ Who verily was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for you,

²⁴ Who himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sin might live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

¹⁸ For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh,

⁵ And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth will worship him, whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb, who was slain, from the foundation of the world.

⁸ The wild beast which thou sawest, was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth, (whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder when they behold the wild beast, that he was, and is not, and yet will be.
