⁵ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

⁴ Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

³³ Neither is there any arbitrator between us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

⁶ Thus says the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

²³ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

²⁹ And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: ³⁰ And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. ³¹ And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. ³² And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is one God; and there is no other but he: ³³ And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

¹⁰ And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

¹⁴ And the Word (o. logos) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

³ And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

²⁹ Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: ³⁰ Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

¹² For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

⁴ As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

⁶ But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

⁴⁵ And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a life-giving spirit. (o. pneuma) ⁴⁶ Nevertheless that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. ⁴⁷ The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

²⁰ Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

⁶ One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

⁶ Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: ⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

⁶ But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him? ⁷ You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands: ⁸ You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. ⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. ¹⁰ For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. ¹¹ For both he that santifies and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, ¹² Saying, I will declare your name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto you. ¹³ And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me.

²⁵ Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

⁶ But now has he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

¹⁵ And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

²⁴ And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things that that of Abel.

¹³ And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the breast with a golden girdle.
