1 John 5:16 Cross References - Twentieth_Century

16 If any one sees his Brother committing some sin that is not a deadly sin, he will ask, and so be the means of giving Life to him--to any whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin; about that I do not say that a man should pray.

Matthew 12:31-32

31 Therefore, I tell you, men will be forgiven every sin and slander; but slander against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Whoever speaks against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in the present age, or in the age to come.

Mark 3:28-30

28 I tell you that men will be forgiven everything--their sins, and all the slanders that they utter; 29 but whoever slanders the Holy Spirit remains unforgiven to the end; he has to answer for an enduring sin." 30 This was said in reply to the charge that he had a foul spirit in him.

Luke 12:10

10 Every one who shall say anything against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but for him who slanders the Holy Spirit there will be no forgiveness.

John 17:9

9 I intercede for them; I am not interceding for the world, but for those whom thou has given me, for they are thy own--

2 Timothy 4:14

14 Alexander, the coppersmith, showed much ill-feeling towards me. 'The Lord will give him what his actions deserve.'

Hebrews 6:4-6

4 For if those who were once for all brought into the Light, and learned to appreciate the gift from Heaven, and came to share in the Holy Spirit, 5 and learned to appreciate the beauty of the Divine Message, and the new powers of the Coming Age-- 6 if those, I say, fell away, it would be impossible to bring them again to repentance; they would be crucifying the Son of God over again for themselves, and exposing him to open contempt.

Hebrews 10:26-31

26 Remember, if we sin willfully after we have gained a full knowledge of the Truth, there can be no further sacrifice for sin; 27 there is only a fearful anticipation of judgment, and a burning indignation which will destroy all opponents. 28 When a man disregarded the Law of Moses, he was, on the evidence of two or three witnesses, put to death without pity. 29 How much worse then, think you, will be the punishment deserved by those who have trampled underfoot the Son of God, who have treated the blood that rendered the Covenant valid--the very blood by which they were purified--as of no account, and who have outraged the Spirit of Love? 30 We know who it was that said-- 'It is for me to avenge, I will requite'; and again-- 'The Lord will judge his people.' 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.

James 5:14-15

14 If any one of you is ill, let him send for the Officers of the Church, and let them pray over him, after anointing him with oil in the name of the lord. 15 The prayer offered in faith will save the man who is sick, and the Lord will raise him from his bed; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

2 Peter 2:20-22

20 If, after having escaped the polluting influences of the world, through knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, men are again entangled in them, and give way to them, their last state has become worse than their first. 21 It would, indeed, have been better for them not to have known the Way of Righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn away from the holy Command delivered to them. 22 In their case is seen the truth of the proverb-- 'A dog returns to what he has vomited' and 'A sow after washing to her wallowing-place in the mud.'
