²¹ And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.

⁶⁶ And all who heard laid them to heart, saying, What then is this child to be? For the hand of the Lord was also with him.

⁴⁷ praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added the saved, day by day, to the assembly [church].

⁴ But many of those that heard the word believed, and the number of the men became about five thousand.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused [the seed] to grow; ⁷ so neither is he that plants any thing, nor he that waters, but God that causes it to grow.

⁵ that our gospel came not to you in word only, but with power and with the Holy Spirit and with full assurance, as you know what we were among you for your sakes.

⁹ for they declare of us what introduction we had to you, and how you turned from idols to God, to serve the living and true God, ¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.
