⁵ He who supplies to you the Spirit and works miracles among you, is he doing it because of works of law or because of hearing with faith,

¹⁰ when he comes to be glorified among his holy ones and to be wondered at on that day among all believers — for our testimony to you was believed.

⁶ who gave himself as a ransom for all, a fact to be witnessed to at the fitting time.

⁸ Do not be ashamed to testify for our Lord or for me his prisoner, but join in suffering hardships for the good news as God gives power.

³ how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the beginning was spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard him, ⁴ while God added his testimony by signs and wonders and many kinds of miracles and impartation of the Holy Spirit according to his will?

¹¹ This is the testimony: that God has given to us life eternal and this life is in his Son. ¹² He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life. ¹³ I am writing this to you so that you may know that you have life eternal, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.

⁹ I, John, your brother and fellow sharer in the distresses and the kingdom and the endurance in Jesus, came to the island called Patmos, for the sake of the message of God and the testimony of Jesus.
