³⁷ In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

²⁵ Jehoshaphat and his troops came to take the loot. They found among them a lot of goods, clothes, and valuables. They found more than they could carry. They spent three days collecting the loot. ²⁶ They gathered in the valley of Beracah on the fourth day. Because they thanked Jehovah there, that place is still called the »Valley of Beracah« (Thanks) today. ²⁷ All the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned to Jerusalem. They rejoiced while Jehoshaphat led them. Jehovah gave them a reason to rejoice about what had happened to their enemies.

⁸ He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. He will take away the disgrace of His people from the earth. Jehovah has spoken!

³³ »I spoke to you that in me you might have peace. In the world you have tribulation. Be of good cheer for I have conquered the world!«

¹⁴ Thanks to God, who always leads us in triumph (triumphal procession) in Christ. He makes known through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.

⁵⁴ When this corruptible shall be clothed with (Greek: enduo: dressed, put on) incorruption, and this mortal shall be clothed with immortality, then the saying will come true: »Death is swallowed up in victory.«

⁵⁷ But thanks to God, because he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁰ I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

² Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us. He was an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling odor.

²⁵ Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up for it. ²⁶ This is so he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word. ²⁷ So he will be able to present the congregation to himself as a glorious congregation, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. It should be holy and without blemish.

⁹ He told me: »My grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness.« Most gladly therefore, I would rather glory in my infirmities (frailities), that the power of Christ may rest upon me (cover me like a tent) (descend upon me) (abide with me). (Isaiah 40:29-31)

¹⁹ Do you think that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for you’re up building.

¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and good hope by grace,

⁴ You are of God, my little children. You have overcome them because he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (atonement) (sacrificial payment) for our sins.

²⁴ Now to him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish with exceeding joy.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, who is the Faithful Witness, and the firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and released us from our sins by his blood.

⁹ »'I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, for they lie; I will make them come and bow down before your feet. They will know that I have loved you.

⁹ After this I saw a great crowd that no man could number. It was from all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues. It stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes. They had palm branches in their hands.

¹¹ They conquered (overcame) him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives when faced with death.

¹⁴ »They will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome (conquer) them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. Those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.«

⁷ »He who overcomes will inherit all things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.

¹⁹ We love, because he first loved us.

⁴ Everything born from God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world, even our faith. ⁵ Who is the one who conquers (overcomes) (prevails over) the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

¹⁰ They cried with a loud voice, saying: »Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.«

⁷ When they finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them and conquer them, and kill them. ⁸ Their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was impaled. ⁹ The people and tribes and tongues and nations will see their dead bodies three and a half days, and will look at them and refuse to bury them. ¹⁰ The inhabitants of the earth will celebrate and rejoice over them. They will rejoice and send gifts to one another. This is because these two prophets tormented those who lived on the earth. ¹¹ After three and a half days the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet. Great fear fell upon all who saw them. ¹² They heard a great voice from heaven say: »Come up here.« So they ascended up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies beheld them.
