¹⁵ He is the image (likeness) (representation) of the invisible God. He is the firstborn (Greek: prototokos: childbirth, offspring) of all creation. ¹⁶ All things in the heavens and upon the earth where created through him. The things visible and invisible were created through him. Whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him. ¹⁷ He is before all things, and through him all things originate.

¹⁶ Only God has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light. No man has seen him, nor can see him. To him be honor and power forever. Amen.

¹⁰ It was appropriate that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, should bring many sons to glory, to make the Chief Agent of their salvation perfect through suffering.

¹⁷ Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ The Lord will deliver me from every evil work. He will save me to his heavenly kingdom. To him is the glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁰ The twenty-four elders fall down before the one seated on the throne. They worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: ¹¹ »You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and because of your will they are and were created.«

¹² They said with a loud voice: »The Lamb that was slaughtered is worthy to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.« ¹³ I heard every creature in heaven and on earth. I also heard those under the earth, in the sea, and all that are in them. They said: »Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever.« ¹⁴ The four living creatures said: »Amen« and the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped.

¹ After these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying: »Praise Jehovah! Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power belong to our God. (Psalm 150:6)

⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a large number of people, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of mighty thunder, saying: »Praise Jehovah! ¹⁰ They cried with a loud voice, saying: »Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.«
