² My foes have trampled upon me all day long. They are many who fight proudly against me.

² I will be glad, rejoice and exult in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

¹ ([Psalm of David]) O Jehovah, look how my enemies have increased! Many are attacking me.

¹ ([Psalm of David]) O Jehovah, defend me from those who attack me. Fight against those who fight against me.

³ He will send from heaven, and save me, He rebukes the one who is pursuing me. God will send out his loving kindness and his truth.

⁵ He will repay my enemies for their evil: consume (destroy) them in your truth.

¹ He who lives under the shelter of the Most High will remain in the shadow of the Almighty.

¹ It is good to give thanks to Jehovah, to sing praises to your name, O Most High.

⁸ But you, O Jehovah, are highly honored forever.

⁴ Jehovah on high is mightier than the noise of many waters. Yes he is mightier than the mighty waves of the sea.

¹⁰ Many enemies were around me; but I destroyed them by the power of Jehovah! ¹¹ They were around me on every side; but I destroyed them by the power of Jehovah! ¹² They swarmed around me like bees, but they burned out as quickly as a brush fire; by the power of Jehovah I destroyed them.
