²⁸ For we suppose that a man is iustified by fayth withoute the dedes of the lawe.

¹⁴ And as Moyses lyfte vp the serpent in the wyldernes, euen so muste the sonne of man be lyft vp, ¹⁵ that none that beleueth in him perish, but haue eternall life. ¹⁶ For God so loueth the worlde, that he hath geuen his only sonne, that none that beleue in him, should perishe: but should haue euerlastinge lyfe. ¹⁷ For God sent not his sonne into the world, to condempne the worlde: but that the world through him, might be saued. ¹⁸ He that beleueth on him, shal not be condempned. But he that beleueth not is condempned allready, because he beleueth not in the name of the onlye sonne of God.

²⁴ Verely, verely I say vnto you he that heareth my wordes, and beleueth on him that sent me, hath euerlasting lyfe, & shal not come into damnacion: but is escaped from death vnto lyfe.

⁴⁰ And this is the wyll of him that sent me: that euerye man which seeth the sonne and beleueth on him haue euerlasting lyfe. And I wyll rayse him vp at the laste daye.

³⁸ Be it knowen vnto you therfore ye men & brethren, that thorowe thys man is preached vnto you the forgeuenes of synnes, ³⁹ and that by hym are all that beleue iustifyed from all thynges from the which ye coulde not be iustifyed by the lawe of Moses.

²⁰ because that by the dedes of the lawe, shall no fleshe be iustifyed in the syght of God. For by the lawe commeth the knoweledge of synne. ²¹ Nowe verelye is the ryghteousnes that commeth of God, declared withoute the fulfyllynge of lawe, hauynge wytnes yet of the lawe and of the Prophetes. ²² The ryghteousnes no doubte whiche is good before God commeth by the fayth of Christe, vnto all and vpon all that beleue. There is no difference:

²⁶ to shewe at thys time the ryghteousnes that is alowed of hym that he myghte be counted iuste, and iustifyar of hym which beleueth on Iesus.

⁵ To hym that worketh not, but beleueth on hym that iustifyeth the vngodly, is hys fayth counted for ryghteousnes.

¹ Because therfore that we are iustifyed by fayeth we are at peace wyth God thorowe oure Lorde Iesus Christe

³ For what the lawe coulde not do in as much as it was weake because of the fleshe: that performed God, and sente hys sonne in the similitude of synfull fleshe,

¹¹ And suche were ye verelye, but ye are washed, ye are sanctifyed, ye are iustifyed by the name of the Lorde Iesus, and by the spyryte of our God.

¹⁶ knowe that a man is not iustifyed by the dedes of the lawe, but by the fayth of Iesus Christe. And therfore we haue beleued on Iesus Christe that we myghte be iustifyed by the fayth of Christe, and not by the dedes of the lawe, because that by the dedes of the lawe no fleshe can be iustifyed.

⁸ For the scripture sawe afore hand, that God woulde iustifye the heathen thorow fayth, & therfore shewed before hand glad tydynges vnto Abraham. In the shall all nacyons be blessed.

¹¹ That no man is iustifyed by the lawe in the syght of God, is euydente. For the iuste shall lyue by fayth. ¹² The lawe is not of fayth: but the man that fulfylleth the thinges contayned in the lawe, shall lyue in them. ¹³ But Christ hath delyuered vs from the curse of the lawe, and was made accursed for vs. For it is wrytten: cursed is euery one that hangeth on tre, ¹⁴ that the blessyng of Abraham myghte come on the Gentyles thorowe Iesus Christ and that we myght receyue the promes of the spyryte thorow fayth.

²⁴ Wherfore the lawe was our scholemaster to the tyme of Christ, that we might be made ryghtuouse by fayth.

⁹ and commeth not of workes, leste anye man should bost him selfe.

⁹ and might be founde in hym, not hauinge mine owne rightuousnes, which is of the lawe, but that whyche spryngeth of the fayth, is in CHRISTE. I meane the rightuousnes, whiche commeth of God thorowe fait

⁷ that we ones iustifyed by hys grace, shoulde be heyres of eternall lyfe, thorow hope.

²⁴ Ye se then how that of dedes a man is iustifyed, and not of fayth onely.
