³⁵ Then shall it be sayde: this waste lande is become lyke a garden of pleasure, & the voyde, desolate and broken downe cytyes, are now strong, and fensed agayne.

⁸ The Lorde God also planted a garden in Eden from the beginning, and there he sette man whom he had formed. ⁹ And the Lord god made to sprynge out of the erth, all maner trees bewtyfull to the syght and pleasant to eate, and the tree of lyfe in the myddes of the garden: and also the tree of knowledge of good and euell.

¹⁰ And Lot lyft vp hys eyes, and beheld al the contry about Iordane, whych was a plentuous contry of water euery wher, before the Lorde destroyed Sodome & Gomorha, euen as the garden of the Lorde, & as the Land of Egypt tyll thou come to Zoar.

¹¹ So that men shall saye, verelye there is a rewarde for the righteous: doutles, there is a God that iudgeth the earth.

⁹ And all men that se it shal saye: thys hath God done, for they shall perceyue that it is hys worcke.

² Then shal our mouth be filled wyth laughter, and oure tonge with ioye. Then shall it be sayd among the Heathen: the Lord hath done greate thynges for them.

³ how the Lorde comforted Syon, and repayred all her decaye: makynge her deserte as a Paradyse, & her wyldernesse as the garden of the Lorde. Myrth and ioye was there, thanckesgeuynge and the voyce of prayse.

⁹ And this shall get me a name, a prayse and honoure, amonge all people of the earthe, whiche shall heare al the good, that I will shewe vnto them: yea they shalbe afrayed and astounded at all the good deedes and benefytes, that I will do for them.

¹³ So shall ye know that I am the Lorde, when I open your graues, & bringe you out of them.

³ Before hym shall be a consumynge fyre, and behynde him a burnyng flamme. The land shal be as a garden of pleasure before him, but behynde hym shall it be a very waste wyldernes, and there is no man, that shall escape hym.
