¹¹ I gaue them my commaundementes, and shewed them my lawes, whiche who so kepeth, shall lyue in them.

⁵ Kepe therfore myne ordynaunces, and my iudgementes whyche yf a man doo he shall lyue therby: for I am the Lord.

⁸ Yea, & what nation is so greate that hathe ordinaunces, and lawes so ryghtuouse, as all thys lawe which I set before you thys day.

¹⁵ Thus thou shalt do vnto al the cities whych are a greate waye of from the and not of the cities of these nacions. ¹⁶ But in the cities of these nacions which the Lorde thy God geueth the to enheret, thou shalt saue alyue nothyng that breatheth.

¹³ Thou camest doune also vpon mount Sinai, and spakest vnto them from heauen, and gaueste them ryght iudgementes, true lawes good commaundementes and statutes, ¹⁴ and declaredeste vnto them thy holye Sabboth, & commaundedst them preceptes, ordinaunces, and lawes, by Moses thy seruaunte:

¹⁹ He sheweth hys woorde vnto Iacob, hys statutes and ordinaunces vnto Israel. ²⁰ He hath not dealte so with all the Heathen, neither haue they knowlege of hys lawes. Prayse the euerlastyng.

¹³ And yet the house of Israel rebelled agaynste me in the wildernesse, they woulde not walcke in my commaundementes, they haue cast awaye my lawes (whiche whoso kepeth, shoulde lyue in them) and my Sabboth dayes haue thy greatly vnhalowed. Then I made me to poure oute my indignacion vpon them, and to consume them in the wyldernesse.

²¹ Notwythstandinge, their sonnes rebelled against me also: they walcked not in my statutes, they kepte not my lawes to fulfyll them (whiche he that doeth shall lyue in them) neyther halowed they my Sabboth dayes. Then I made me againe to poure out my indignacion ouer them, and to satisfye my wrath vpon them in the wildernesse.

²⁸ And he sayed to hym: Thou haste aunswered ryght. Thys do and thou shalte lyue.

² Surelye verye muche. Fyrste vnto them was commytted the word of God.

⁵ Moyses descrybeth the ryghtuousnes whiche cometh of the lawe, howe that the man which doeth the thynges of the lawe, shal liue therein.

¹² The lawe is not of fayth: but the man that fulfylleth the thinges contayned in the lawe, shall lyue in them.
