⁶ And he made the mercyseate of pure gold two cubites & a halfe longe and one cubite & a halfe brode,

¹⁷ And thou shalt make a merciseate of pure golde .ij. cubytes and an half longe and a cubyte and an halfe brode. ¹⁸ And make .ij. cherubins of thycke golde on the two endes of the merciseate: ¹⁹ and set the one cherub on the one ende and the other on the other ende of the mercyseate: so se that thou make them on the two endes thereof. ²⁰ And the Cherubyns shal stretche theyr wynges abrode ouer an hye, & couer the mercyseate wyth theyr wynges, and theyr faces shal loke one to another: euen to the mercyseate warde, shall the faces of the cherubyns be. ²¹ And thou shalte putte the mercyseate aboue vpon the arke, and in the arke thou shalt put the witnesse which I wil geue the. ²² There I wyll mete the and will comon with the from vpon the mercyseate from betwene the two Cherbyns whiche are vpon the arke of wytnesse, of all thynge whych I wyll geue the in commaundemente vnto the chyldren of Israel.

¹² And then he shal take a censer ful of burnyng coles out of the alter that is before the Lord, and hys handfull of swete cens beten smal and bryng them within the vayl ¹³ & put the cens vpon the fyre before the Lord: that the cloude of the cens maye couer the mercyseate that is vpon the wytnesse, that he dye not. ¹⁴ And he shall take of the bloude of the bullock & sprynkle it wyth his fynger before the mercyseate eastwarde: euen .vij. tymes. ¹⁵ Then shall he kyll the goote that is the peoples synneoffryng, and bryng hys bloud wythin the vayle, and do with hys bloud as he dyd wyth the bloude of the bullock, and let hym sprynkle it toward the mercyseate, & before the mercyseate:

¹¹ And Dauid gaue Salomon hys sonne the paterne of the porche & of the houses that longed therto, & of the store houses, vpper chambres, ynner parloures, and of the house of the mercye seate:

²⁵ whome God hath made a seate of mercye thorowe fayth in hys bloude, to shewe the rightuousnes whiche before hym is of valoure, in that he forgeueth the synnes that are passed, whiche God dyd suffer

⁴ But when the tyme was full come, God sente hys sonne made of a woman, and made bonde vnto the lawe,

¹⁴ whiche gaue hym selfe for vs, to redeme vs from al vnryghtuousnes and to pourge vs a peculyar people vnto him selfe, feruently geuen vnto good workes.

⁵ Ouer the arcke were the cherubes of glorye shadowynge the seate of grace. Of whiche thynges we wyll not nowe speake perticularlye.

² and he it is that obtayned grace for our sinnes, not for oure sinnes onelye, but also for the synnes of al the worlde.
