³ The Lorde is a man of warre Iehouah is hys name:

¹³ Then said Moses vnto God: when I come vnto the children of Israel & say vnto them, the God of your fathers hath sent me vnto you & they say vnto me, what is hys name, what answer shal I gyue them?

¹⁵ And God spake further vnto Moyses: thus shalt thou say vnto the children of Israel: the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, & the God of Iacob hath sent me vnto you: this is my name for euer, and thys is my memorial thorowout al generations.

² And God spake vnto Moyses saying vnto him: I am the Lord ³ and I appeared vnto Abraham, Isaac, & Iacob an almyghtye God: but in my name Iehouah was I not knowne vnto them.

⁶ Wherfore say vnto the chyldren of Israel I am the Lord, & wyll bryng you out frome vnder the burdens of the Egyptians, & wyl ryd you out of theyr bondage, and wil delyuer you with a stretched out arme and with great iudgements. ⁷ And I wyl take you for my people and wil be to you a God. And ye shall know that I am the Lorde your God, whyche bryng you out from vnder the burdens of the Egyptians. ⁸ And I wyll brynge you vnto the land ouer the which I did lift vp my hande to giue it vnto Abraham, Isaac, and Iacob, and wyll gyue it vnto you for a possession: euen I the Lorde.

¹⁴ The Lord shal fyghte for you and ye shal holde your peace.

⁸ Who is this kyng of glory? It is the Lorde strong and myghtie, euen the Lorde myghty in batell.

³ Gyrde the with thy swerde vpon thy thyghe (O thou mightye) with worshippe and renowne.

¹⁸ That they may know that thou art alone that thy name is the Lorde, & that thou onely art the moost hyest ouer all the earth.

⁸ I my selfe, whose name is the Lorde, whych geue my power to none other nether myne honoure to the Goddes:

¹¹ And I sawe heauen open, & beholde a whyt horsse: and he that sate vpon hym was faythful and true, & in rightuousnes dyd he iudge & make battayl. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fyre, and on hys head were manye crounes, and he had a name wrytten, that no man knewe but he hym self. ¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipt in bloud, & his name is called the worde of God. ¹⁴ And the warryers whiche were in heauen, folowed hym vpon whyte horsses, clothed with whyte & pure raynes: ¹⁵ & out of hys mouthe went out a sharpe swearde, that with it he should smyte the heathen. And he shal rule them wyth a rod of Iron, & he trode the wine fat of the fiercenes & wrath of almightye God. ¹⁶ And hath on hys vesture & on hys thighe a name wrytten: king of kinges, & Lord of Lordes, ¹⁷ And I sawe an angel stand in the sunne & he cryed wyth a loud voyce, saiyng to al the foules that flye by the myndes of heauen come & gather youre selues together vnto the supper of the great God, ¹⁸ that ye may eate the flesh of kinges, & of hye captaynes, & the fleshe of myghty men, and the flesh of horsses, & of them that sit on them, & the flesh of all free men & bonde men, & of small & great. ¹⁹ And I sawe the beast and the kynges of the earth, & theyr warriers gathered together to make battayl against him that sat on the horse & agaynst hys souldyers. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, & with hym that false prophete that wrought miracles before him with which he deceyued them that receiued the beastes marke, & them that worshipped his Image These both were cast into a ponde of fyre burnyng with brimstone: ²¹ and the remnaunte were slayne with the swerd of him that sate vpon the horse, which swerd proceded out of his mouth & all the foules were fulfilled with their flesh.
