Deuteronomy 21:1 Cross References - Matthew

¹ If one be founde slaine in the land whych the Lorde thy God geueth the to possesse it, and lyeth in the feeldes: & not knowne who hath slayne hym:

⁶ Thou destroiest the lyers: the Lord abhorreth the bloude thursty and disceatful.

¹² And why? he maketh inquisicion for their bloude, and remembreth theym: he forgetteth not th complaynte of the poore.

¹⁷ He that by vyolence sheddeth anye mannes bloude, shall be a rennagate vnto his graue, and no man shall be able to succoure hym.

²¹ For beholde, the Lorde wyl go out of his habitacyon, and vpset the wyckednesse of them that dwell vpon earthe. He wyl dyscouer the bloud that she hath deuoured, she shal neuer hyde them, that she hath murthered.

⁴ When the men of the countrey sawe the worme hange on his hande, they sayd amonge them selues: this man must nedes be a murtherer. Whom (though he haue escaped the sea) yet vengeaunce suffreth not to lyue.
