⁹ He was listening while Paul was preaching, and Paul, looking intently at him, and perceiving that he had faith to be made whole,

¹⁰ As Jesus listened to this reply he was astonished, and said to those who followed him. "In solemn truth I tell you that I have found faith like this in any Israelite.

²² But Jesus turned and saw her and said, "Be of good courage, daughter, your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that hour.

²⁸ And when he had gone indoors, they came to him. "Do you believe that I can do this?" asked Jesus. "Yes, Lord," they answered. ²⁹ Then he touched their eyes, saying "According to your faith be it unto you," and their eyes were opened.

⁵⁸ And he did no mighty works there, because of their lack of faith.

²⁸ Then Jesus answered her. "O woman, great is your faith. It shall be for you even as you desire." And from that hour her daughter was healed.

⁴⁰ One day a leper cane to him and besought him as he knelt down to him, saying, "If you choose, you are able to cleanse me." ⁴¹ Jesus, moved with compassion, put out his hand and touched him, saying, "I do choose, be clean!"

⁵ Then Jesus, when he perceived their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son your sins are forgiven."

¹¹ "I bid you rise, take up your cot, and go home." ¹² The man rose, at once took up his cot, and went out before them all; at which they were all astounded, and gave God glory, saying, "We never saw anything like this."

²³ Jesus said to him. "'If you can'! All things can be for one who believes." ²⁴ The boy's father with a cry said instantly. "I do believe; help my unbelief."

⁵² "Go," said Jesus, "your own faith has saved you," and immediately he received his sight, and began to follow Jesus along the road.

⁴ Peter fixed his eyes upon him, as did John, and said, "Look at us."
