⁹ And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, It is My people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

¹² And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be My people.

⁴⁴ And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I hate them, to destroy them utterly and to break My covenant with them. For I am Jehovah their God. ⁴⁵ But for their sakes, I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, so that I might be their God. I am Jehovah.

¹⁷ You have today said that Jehovah is your God, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and listen to His voice. ¹⁸ And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, ¹⁹ and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.

¹⁰ But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

¹⁵ The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. ¹⁶ The face of Jehovah is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. ¹⁷ The righteous cry, and Jehovah hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ Jehovah is near to the broken-hearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit. ¹⁹ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.

¹⁵ and call on Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

¹⁰ For You have proved us, O God; You have tested us, as silver is refined. ¹¹ You have brought us into the net; You have laid affliction on our loins. ¹² You have allowed men to ride at our head; we have gone through fire and through water, but You have brought us out to plenty.

¹⁵ He shall call on Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in trouble; I will deliver Him, and honor Him.

¹⁵ Blessed are the peoples who are so; blessed are the peoples to whom Jehovah is their God.

³ The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold, but Jehovah tries the hearts.

² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame kindle on you.

¹ Yet now hear, O Jacob My servant, and Israel whom I have chosen; ² So says Jehovah who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you; Fear not, O Jacob My servant, and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. ³ For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring; ⁴ and they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water-courses. ⁵ One shall say, I am Jehovah's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall write with his hand, For Jehovah, and be named by the name of Israel. ⁶ So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and His redeemer Jehovah of Hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and besides Me there is no God.

¹⁰ Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.

⁹ Then you shall call, and Jehovah shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am. If you take the yoke away from among you, the pointing of the finger, and speaking vanity;

²³ They will not labor in vain, nor bring forth for terror. For they are the seed of the beloved of Jehovah, and their offspring with them. ²⁴ And it will be, before they call I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.

¹¹ For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. ¹² Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

²² And you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

³³ but this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, says Jehovah, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

³⁸ And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

²⁰ so that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

²⁸ And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

²⁷ And My tabernacle shall be with them. Yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

²¹ And it will be, in that day I will answer, says Jehovah. I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth, ²² and the earth shall hear the grain and the wine and the oil. And they shall hear Jezreel. ²³ And I will sow her to Me in the earth. And I will have mercy on No-mercy. And I will say to Not-my-people, You are My people. And they shall say, My God.

³² And it shall be, whoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved; for salvation shall be in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as Jehovah has said, and in the remnant whom Jehovah shall call.

⁸ And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁶ And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will return to save them; for I have pity on them. And they shall be as though I had not cast them off; for I am Jehovah their God, and I will answer them.

¹⁰ And I will pour on the house of David, and on the people of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be bitter over Him, as the bitterness over the first-born.

² But who can endure the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap. ³ And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may be offerers of a food offering in righteousness to Jehovah.

²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. ³⁰ For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in Heaven. ³¹ But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, ³² "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?" God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

²¹ And it shall be that everyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

¹² For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him. ¹³ For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved." ¹⁴ How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching?

¹¹ For any other foundation can no one lay than the one being laid, who is Jesus Christ. ¹² And if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, ¹³ each one's work shall be revealed. For the Day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try each one's work as to what kind it is.

¹⁰ "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

⁶ in which you greatly rejoice, yet a little while, if need be, grieving in manifold temptations; ⁷ so that the trial of your faith (being much more precious than that of gold that perishes, but being proven through fire) might be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

¹² Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which is to try you, as though a strange thing happened to you,

³ And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. ⁴ And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.

⁷ He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
