¹ A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, I cry to You; make haste to me, give ear to my voice when I cry to You.

²¹ And why do You not pardon my transgression, and take away my iniquity? For now I shall sleep in the dust, and You shall seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

¹⁹ But You, O Jehovah, be not far from Me; O My strength, hurry to help Me!

¹³ Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me; O Jehovah, make haste to help me.

¹⁷ And hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in trouble; hear me quickly. ¹⁸ Draw near my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies.

⁵ But I am poor and needy; make haste to me, O God; You are my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, wait no longer!
