⁵ that I may see the good of Your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, to glory with Your inheritance.

⁶ For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. Jehovah your God has chosen you to be a special people to Himself above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed.

⁷ Who will bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion? When Jehovah brings back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

¹¹ Let the daughters of Judah shout for joy because of Your judgments!

⁶ seed of His servant Abraham, sons of Jacob His chosen.

⁴³ And He brought forth His people with joy, and His chosen with gladness,

¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of Jehovah does mighty things.

⁶ Cry out and shout, O dweller of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

¹⁰ And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy on their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

²⁵ In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

¹⁰ Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all who mourn for her;

²³ Be glad then, sons of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God. For He has given you the former rain according to righteousness, and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.

¹⁴ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, your King comes to you. He is righteous and victorious, meek and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass.

¹⁶ You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.

²² And therefore you now have sorrow. But I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, Go! For this one is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before nations and kings and the sons of Israel.

⁴ according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

¹⁸ the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

³ For we are the circumcision who worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh;

¹³ But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth,

⁵ Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them. For He is Lord of lords and King of kings. And those with Him are the called and elect and faithful ones.
