¹ Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon the beloved and fellow laborer,

⁹ For of God we are fellow-workers, a field of God, and you are a building of God.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia.

¹ For this cause, I, Paul, am the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you nations,

¹ I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the calling with which you are called,

²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in bonds; so that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

²⁵ Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and he who ministered to my wants.

³ And I also beg you, true yoke-fellow, help those women who labored in the gospel with me and with Clement, and others of my fellow-laborers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

¹¹ and greetings from Jesus, who is called Justus, those being of the circumcision. These alone are my fellow-workers for the kingdom of God, who became a comfort to me.

² And we sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and to comfort you concerning your faith,

¹ Paul and Silvanus and Timothy to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁸ Therefore you should not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner. But be partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God, ⁹ rather through love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
