¹ Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. ¹⁹ Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

¹⁹ Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of Himself but what He sees the Father do. For whatever things He does, these also the Son does likewise.

³⁰ I and the Father are one!

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As My Father has sent Me, even so I send you.

¹⁶ Men, brothers, this Scripture must have been fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit by the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, who became guide to those who seized Jesus. ¹⁷ For he was numbered with us and had obtained part of this ministry. ¹⁸ Indeed, then, this one purchased a field with the reward of unrighteousness. And falling headlong, he burst apart in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out. ¹⁹ And it was known to all the dwellers at Jerusalem, so much so that that field is called in their own dialect, Akeldama, that is to say, Field of Blood. ²⁰ For it is written in the Book of Psalms, "Let his estate become forsaken, and he not be living in it." And, "Let another take his overseership." ²¹ Therefore, it is right that one of these men who have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us, ²² beginning from the baptism of John to that same day that He was taken up from us, to become a witness with us of His resurrection. ²³ And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. ²⁴ And they prayed and said, You, Lord, knower of all hearts, show which one You chose from these two, ²⁵ to take the share of this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell, to go to his own place. ²⁶ And they gave forth their lots. And the lot fell upon Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. ²⁵ For David speaks concerning Him, "I foresaw the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, that I should not be moved. ²⁶ Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue was glad; and also My flesh shall rest in hope, ²⁷ because You will not leave My soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your holy One to see corruption. ²⁸ You revealed to Me the ways of life. You will fill Me with joy with Your countenance." ²⁹ Men, brothers, it is permitted to say to you with plainness as to the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit upon his throne, ³¹ seeing this beforehand, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor would His flesh see corruption, ³² God raised up this Jesus, of which we all are witnesses.

¹⁵ And you killed the Prince of Life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

⁶ And trembling and astonished, he said, Lord, what will You have me to do? And the Lord said to him, Arise and go into the city, and you shall be told what you must do.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, Go! For this one is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before nations and kings and the sons of Israel. ¹⁶ For I will show him what great things he must suffer for My name's sake.

² As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, So, then, separate Barnabas and Saul to Me for the work to which I have called them. ³ Then having fasted and prayed and laid hands on them, they let them go. ⁴ Then these indeed sent out by the Holy Spirit went down to Seleucia. And from there they sailed to Cyprus.

¹⁰ And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said to me, Arise and go into Damascus. And there it shall be told you all things which are appointed for you to do.

¹⁴ And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen you to know His will and to see the Just One, and to hear a voice out of His mouth. ¹⁵ For you shall be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. ¹⁶ And now what do you intend? Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. ¹⁷ And it happened to me, I returning to Jerusalem and praying in the temple, I became in an ecstasy. ¹⁸ And I saw Him say to me, Hurry and go quickly out of Jerusalem, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me. ¹⁹ And I said, Lord, they know that I was imprisoning and beating those who believed on You throughout the synagogues. ²⁰ And when the blood of Your martyr Stephen was poured out, I also was standing by and consenting to his death, and holding the garments of those who killed him. ²¹ And He said to me, Go, for I will send you far away to the nations.

¹⁶ But rise and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of what you saw, and in what I shall appear to you; ¹⁷ delivering you from the people and the nations, to whom I now send you ¹⁸ in order to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

¹ Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated to the gospel of God

⁴ who was marked out the Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; ⁵ by whom we have received grace and apostleship, to obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name;

²⁴ but for us also to whom it is to be imputed, to the ones believing on Him who has raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; ²⁵ who was delivered because of our offenses and was raised for our justification.

⁹ Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

⁹ For this Christ both died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and living.

¹ Paul, a called apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia.

¹ Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, like some, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? ² You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men, ³ it having been made plain that you are the epistle of Christ, ministered by us, not having been written with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.

¹¹ And, brothers, I make known to you the gospel which was preached by me, that it is not according to man. ¹² For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it except by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ Nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those apostles before me, but I went into Arabia and returned again to Damascus.

¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength ²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead, and He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,

⁸ This grace is given to me (who am less than the least of all saints) to preach the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations,

¹¹ according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. ¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who strengthened me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry-- ¹³ the one who before was a blasphemer and a persecutor and insolent. But I obtained mercy, because being ignorant, I did it in unbelief. ¹⁴ And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

³ but revealed His Word in its own times in a proclamation, with which I was entrusted by the command of God our Savior,)

²⁰ Now may the God of peace (who brought again our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant)

²¹ those believing in God through Him, He who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

¹⁸ and the Living One, and I became dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death.

⁸ And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The First and the Last, who became dead and lived, says these things:
