¹¹ And God said to him, Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, and have not asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to judge justly,

³² And from the sons of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred. And all their brothers were at their command.

⁶ For Jehovah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

⁵ Wisdom in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.

² Because of the transgression of a land, many are its rulers; but it is prolonged by a man of discernment who knows right.

²¹ And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

⁷ Consider what I say, and the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the everlasting life.
