¹³ I have surely built a house of loftiness for You, a settled place for You to abide in forever.

¹⁷ You shall bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place, O Jehovah, You have made for You to dwell in; the Sanctuary, O Jehovah, which Your hands have established.

¹³ He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

¹² He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

¹⁰ He shall build a house for My name. And he shall be My son, and I will be his Father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever. ¹¹ Now, my son, may Jehovah be with you and bless you, and build the house of Jehovah your God as He has said of you.

⁶ And He said to me, Solomon your son shall build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.

¹⁰ Take heed now, for Jehovah has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.

²⁰ And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it. Do not fear, nor be dismayed, for Jehovah God, my God, will be with you. He will not fail you nor leave you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of Jehovah.

² And I have built a house for You to live in, and a place for Your dwelling forever.

⁶⁸ but chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which He loved. ⁶⁹ And He built His holy place like high palaces, like the earth which He has founded forever.

¹³ Jehovah has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling-place. ¹⁴ This is My rest forever; here I will dwell; for I have desired it.

²¹ Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you shall neither worship the Father in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem. ²² You worship what you do not know, we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. ²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him.

¹⁴ For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered to us.

⁵ who serve the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was warned of God when he was about to make the tabernacle. For, He says "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you in the mountain." ⁶ But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises. ⁷ For if that first covenant had been without fault, then no place would have been sought for the second. ⁸ For finding fault with them, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, ⁹ not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt," because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ¹¹ And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." ¹³ In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first one old. Now that which decays and becomes old is ready to vanish away.

¹¹ But when Christ had become a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building ¹² nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered once for all into the Holies, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

²⁴ For Christ has not entered into the Holy of Holies made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
