⁷ You shall keep far away from a false matter. And do not kill the innocent and the righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.

¹³ You shall not murder.

¹ You shall not utter a false report; You shall not put your hand with the wicked, to become a violent witness.

⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and not leaving entirely unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, and on sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.

¹¹ You shall not steal nor lie, nor deceive to one another.

¹⁶ If a vicious witness rises up against any man to charge apostasy against him, ¹⁷ then both the men who have the dispute shall stand before Jehovah, before the priests and the judges who shall be in those days. ¹⁸ And the judges shall carefully investigate And, behold, if the witness is a false witness, and he has testified falsely against his brother, ¹⁹ then you shall do to him as he plotted to do to his brother. And you shall put away the evil from among you. ²⁰ And those who remain shall hear and fear, and thereafter shall not add to commit any such evil among you. ²¹ And your eye shall not pity; life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

²⁵ Cursed is he who takes a bribe to strike a life, to shed innocent blood! And all the people shall say, Amen!

²³ If you return to the Almighty, you shall be built up; you shall put injustice far from your tents.

¹⁴ Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not go in the way of evildoers. ¹⁵ Avoid it, do not pass by it; turn from it and pass on.

¹⁵ He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, even both of them are disgusting to Jehovah.

¹⁵ He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly; he who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands free from taking the bribe, who stops his ear from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil.

³ Jehovah takes long to anger, and is great of power, and He does not by any means acquit the guilty . Jehovah has His way in the tempest and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

¹⁴ And also ones serving as soldiers asked him, saying, And we, what shall we do? And he said to them, Do not shake violently anyone nor accuse falsely, and be satisfied with your pay.

¹⁸ For God's wrath is revealed from Heaven on all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, holding the truth in unrighteousness,

⁵ But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up to yourself wrath in a day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God? ⁶ He "will give to each according to his works:" LXX-Psa. 61:13; MT-Psa. 62:12

²⁵ Therefore, putting off the false," speak truth each with his neighbor," because we are members of one another. Zech. 8:16

²² Keep back from every appearance of evil.
