¹ Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

² Behold, God is my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for my strength and song is Jah Jehovah; yea, He has become my salvation.

¹⁶ In those days Judah shall be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name that shall be called on her: JEHOVAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

¹⁸ And walking beside the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers.

² And the names of the twelve apostles are these: First, Simon who is called Peter and his brother Andrew, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John,

⁴⁷ and my spirit exulted in God My Savior.

⁴⁹ And because of this, the wisdom of God said, I will send prophets and apostles to them, and they will kill and drive out some of them,

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold! Satan asked for you, to sift you as wheat; ³² but I entreated concerning you, that your faith might not fail. And when you have turned back, confirm your brothers. ³³ And he said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go both to prison and to death with You. ³⁴ And He said, Peter, I say to you, a cock will not crow today before you will deny knowing Me three times.

⁴² And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter).

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.

¹⁵ Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs! ¹⁶ Again He says to him, secondly, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He says to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Shepherd My sheep! ¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

⁸ And the heart knowing God testified to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as also to us. ⁹ And He made distinction in nothing between both us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.

¹⁴ Simon recounted how even as at first God oversaw to take a people out from among the nations for His name.

¹ Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated to the gospel of God,

¹² and this is to be comforted together among you, through the faith in one another, both yours and mine.

¹⁷ for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, "But the just shall live by" "faith." Hab. 2:4

²¹ But now a righteousness of God has been revealed apart from Law, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, ²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference, ²³ for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, ²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus.

³⁰ But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

¹ Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen our Lord Jesus Christ? Are you not my work in the Lord?

⁹ For I am the least of the apostles, who am not sufficient to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

¹³ But having the same spirit of faith, according to what has been written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak, LXX-Psa. 115:1; MT-Psa. 116:10

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

⁸ (for He working in Peter to an apostleship of the circumcision, also worked in me to the nations),

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now has been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,

⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

¹¹ And indeed He gave some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers;

²⁹ because it was granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf,

⁹ and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness of Law, but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith,

⁵ taking recollection of the unpretended faith in you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and I am assured that it is also in you.

¹ Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of the elect of God and full knowledge of the truth according to godliness,

⁴ to Titus, a true child according to our common faith. Grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

¹ Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, of Galatia, of Cappadocia, of Asia, and of Bithynia,

⁷ so that the proving of your faith, much more precious than perishing gold, but having been proved through fire, may be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

⁷ Then to you who believe belongs the preciousness. But to disobeying ones, He is the "Stone which those building rejected; this One became the Head-of-the-corner," Psa. 118:22

¹ I, a fellow elder, exhort the elders among you, I being also witness of the sufferings of Christ, and being sharer of the glory about to be revealed:

⁴ by which means He has given to us the very great and precious promises, so that through these you might be partakers of the divine nature, escaping from the corruption in the world by lust.
