⁴³ And do not snatch the word of truth utterly from my mouth, for I hope in your ordinances.

⁶ Rise up, O Yahweh, in your anger, and lift yourself up against the wrath* of my oppressors, and awake for me, since you have commanded judgment. ⁷ And let the assembly of peoples surround you, and over it return on high. ⁸ Yahweh judges the nations. O Yahweh, vindicate me according to my innocence* and according to my integrity within me. ⁹ Let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous, and test the hearts and innermost being, O righteous God.

⁴ For you have maintained my just cause; you have sat on the throne judging correctly.

¹⁶ Yahweh has made himself known; he has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his hands. Higgaion* Selah

¹ Judge me, O God, and plead my case against* an unfaithful* nation. From a man of deceit and wickedness rescue me,

¹⁶ But to the wicked God says, "What right have you to recite my statutes and _⌊mention my covenant with your mouth_⌋,*

¹⁴ Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation; then my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness. ¹⁵ O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will proclaim your praise.

¹⁷ O God, you have taught me from my youth, and up to now I have proclaimed your wonderful deeds. ¹⁸ And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not abandon me until I proclaim your _⌊strength_⌋* to this generation, your power to every one that comes after.

¹³ With my lips I have told of all the ordinances of your mouth.

⁵² I remember your ordinances of old, O Yahweh, and I take comfort.

¹²⁰ My flesh trembles for fear of you, and I am afraid of your judgments.

¹⁷⁵ Let my soul* live that it may praise you, and let your ordinances help me.

²¹ "And as for me, this is my covenant with them, says Yahweh:
my spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have placed in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, or* from the mouths* of your _⌊children_⌋,* or* from the mouths* of _⌊your children's children_⌋,"* says Yahweh, "from now on and forever."

¹³ in whom also you, when you heard* the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also when you believed you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

¹⁸ By his* will he gave birth to us through the message of truth, so that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

²³ who when he* was reviled, did not revile in return; when* suffering, he did not threaten, but entrusted himself to the one who judges justly,
