²⁷ If any of them that believe not invite you to a feast, and you be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

²⁹ And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. ³⁰ But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

⁷ And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. ⁸ And into whatsoever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

²³ And bring to here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

⁷ And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

⁹ I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: ¹⁰ yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must you needs go out of the world. ¹¹ But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.

²⁵ Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

¹³ For we write none other things unto you, than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you shall acknowledge even to the end;

² But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

¹¹ Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
